My friend has been going to Cory’s shop for over 15 years and highly recommended him, and now I understand why.
As a single mom on a tight budget, I really appreciated how kind and honest Cory and his team were.
When I got stranded with a dead battery, Cory even offered to come boost my car to help me out.🥳🥰
He later took my car in and found and fixed the root cause of the battery drain, instead of just doing a quick temporary fix. The follow-up and communication were also excellent.
Really grateful for Cory and his team and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and reliable mechanic.
I'm not going anywhere now they've got a customer for life. ❤️

Nice guy at the counter figured out what wiper I needed and sent a tech out to install it. Tech was not up to the job/was confused so counter guy came and did the job in 20 seconds. Great service, excellent prices.

I cannot begin to express how wonderful the team here is! Exceptional service, fantastic knowledge, and the best prices in town! As a girl on a budget, I knew I had to take my vehicle in to get her winter ready, but I had been anxious about the bill. The team at Fountain Tire not only got me winter ready, but did it quickly and at a fraction of the cost I was expecting given my previous experiences with other shops. I finally found my mechanic team, and won't be going anywhere else. Thanks Fountain Tire!
Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly.
Common ways to measure tread include the following.
- Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace.
- Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low.
- Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure.
If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.
What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?
It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling.
Common signs include:
- Vehicle pulls to one side
- Crooked steering wheel
- Uneven tire wear
- Loose or unstable steering
- Vibration in the steering wheel
If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
What’s included in the seasonal car care package?
Our seasonal car care package gets your vehicle ready for the weather ahead. It includes:
- Fresh engine oil and filter
- Chassis lubrication (as needed)
- Charging and starting system check
- Brake inspection
- Fluid top-ups
- Belt and hose inspection
- Battery test
- Tire and pressure check
- Heating/cooling system check
- Lights, wipers, and overall safety check
It’s a great way to make sure your vehicle is ready for the season.
What do the numbers on my tires mean?
The numbers on your tire’s sidewall tell you the size, load rating, and speed rating.
Example: 225/55R17 97H
- 225 – Tire width (mm)
- 55 – Height as a % of width
- R – Radial construction
- 17 – Wheel diameter (inches)
- 97 – Load rating (how much weight it can carry)
- H – Speed rating (maximum safe speed)
These numbers help us match you with the right tire.
When should I put my winter tires on?
A good rule of thumb: when you can see your breath — about 7°C and below. At that temperature, all-season tires start to harden, while winter tires stay flexible and grippy. Booking early helps you beat the rush.
