Amazing service!!
We have been going to Fountain Tire Riverbend for many years now and trust them with all of our vehicles, Including Mazda and BMW. Previously, we had been taken advantage of for years by the dealerships, however we were given the recommendation for Fountain Tire Riverbend and have never turned back. Marc and his team doing an incredible job of providing honest, reliable and open door service for our family vehicles. I would highly recommend this service center to anyone with any type of vehicle (economy, or high-end). They only service the work that NEEDS to be done. We appreciate you, FTRB!

I recently left a highly critical review of the Fountain Tire in Riverbend Square; however, I decided to retract it because the business was very prompt in reaching out to me afterwards. They provided a thorough explanation of their policies and procedures, and this greatly enhanced my understanding of what happened during my most recent visit for a flat repair. I really appreciate that they put in the time and effort to contact me and to let me know what unfolded and why. This gave me a much clearer picture of what occurred during that service. They also offered to rectify the situation, which I am very grateful for, and I do not believe it is fair to leave a negative review in the public domain when the business has made a genuine effort towards reconciliation. I appreciate that the business reviewed the situation and communicated with me about the relevant information. They were also very prompt and professional in doing so. Reaching out to angry clients is not easy, so it is commendable that they did this. Overall, I feel much better about what happened, and I appreciate the explanation that I was given.

This is my local tire shop and wanted to support local, but been here couple times and never give me that welcome feeling. So I went to spend more than 4500 on winter tires for 2 trucks at kaltire. This place even made my wife wait forever for just a wheel torque. So she left.
Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly.
Common ways to measure tread include the following.
- Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace.
- Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low.
- Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure.
If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.
What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?
It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling.
Common signs include:
- Vehicle pulls to one side
- Crooked steering wheel
- Uneven tire wear
- Loose or unstable steering
- Vibration in the steering wheel
If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
What’s included in the seasonal car care package?
Our seasonal car care package gets your vehicle ready for the weather ahead. It includes:
- Fresh engine oil and filter
- Chassis lubrication (as needed)
- Charging and starting system check
- Brake inspection
- Fluid top-ups
- Belt and hose inspection
- Battery test
- Tire and pressure check
- Heating/cooling system check
- Lights, wipers, and overall safety check
It’s a great way to make sure your vehicle is ready for the season.
What do the numbers on my tires mean?
The numbers on your tire’s sidewall tell you the size, load rating, and speed rating.
Example: 225/55R17 97H
- 225 – Tire width (mm)
- 55 – Height as a % of width
- R – Radial construction
- 17 – Wheel diameter (inches)
- 97 – Load rating (how much weight it can carry)
- H – Speed rating (maximum safe speed)
These numbers help us match you with the right tire.
When should I put my winter tires on?
A good rule of thumb: when you can see your breath — about 7°C and below. At that temperature, all-season tires start to harden, while winter tires stay flexible and grippy. Booking early helps you beat the rush.
