  I went to Great Canadian Oil Change on January 3, 2026, and I was very disappointed with the irresponsible work done by their technicians. On January 5, 2026, I started hearing a scratching noise while driving and noticed that the oil change cover underneath my Honda Civic was hanging loose. After a short time, the cover completely detached and fell off. I then went to my regular mechanic (not this oil change shop), where they had to replace the cover. I paid $220 for the part and installation. This happened due to the careless work of the technicians at Great Canadian Oil Change. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to that shop again.

  Will never return. Took my car in for an oil change noticed a couple days later was leaking badly. Called and asked if I could get in have a look, as common sense would indicate an improper oil filter change or loose plug. Upon arrival I was told there was no issue with their work. Took to a mechanic and found that they had improperly placed my filter and was causing a heavy leak. Contacted the Company and they took ZERO responsibility Completely refused to take any accountability, and in fact we're extremely condescending and tried to pass it off as a prior issue. Which the mechanic has deemed thag not the case, and it was simply an improper install, since the proper installation my car is not leaking. They made a mistake, and refused to take any responsibility accountability. Will never go back, and will ensure others know how incompetent and unprofessional this establishment is

  Been coming to GCOC for years. Always a great experience here, all the guys are friendly & honest. But whats with the pushy charity donation campaign going on here all the time? Corporate tax deduction? People donate & contribute in community, in their own ways, for us its through church. There is no need to offer a donation option at every visit.

  Had been going there exclusively since 2022 for regular maintainence for all 4 of my vehicles and this year I took my new vehicle there as well for a tire swap. Previously always had good experiences there but after this latest experience last week will never return there. I drove in for a tire swap on my 2025 landcruiserand they gladly did that but very conveniently didn't re-program or even check my TPMS. I asked about it when I went for the re-torque and then they very casually tell me oh yes we can not do your TPMS as our machine doesn't support it. They asked me to go to the dealership for this. Of course the dealership wants to charge me for reprogramming my TPMS and I call GCOC again and speak to their manager Jess about it and ask that GCOC foot the bill for TPMS reprogramming as I wasn't informed beforehand of this possibility and had I been told this before they changed my tires I would have just taken my vehicle at a place where they are capable to perform the whole service. Now I have to pay twice for a service that I should have paid just once for and wasted my time getting to fix it and listening to Jess's excuses on phone and not even taking accountability that their ignorance or deliberate negligence led to them providing a service that they shouldn't have. Be careful everyone and make clear enquiries with them before trusting this place. Update - after posting the original review Jess called me twice the next day and informed me that she updated her TPMS machine and they should be able to reset my TPMS which I promptly got done the day after. This showed they cared for the feedback they got so bumped up from 1* to 4* however it could have been handled better originally instead of making it messy like this so keeping 1* because of that.
