Took over a month to own up to a faulty caliper or install, still not sure as they never said, Changed a cracked head and broke a fuel line formed to the fuel pump, wouldn't own up to that and charged for the fix. Seems like they take advantage of people that are not well versed in the service industry. Edit after response: you will not find me in your database as it was my senior citizen father they took advantage of and he does not know how to use Google to do reviews and does not want to be treated worse or put into a position where the vehicle might magically get more issues after bringing it back for a fourth time. Unless there is a guarantee of ownership in creating these issues and reimbursement being discussed I will not contact you.

I had originally started coming to this shop because my whole family had been going there for years and seemed to be having good luck with them. I took my vehicle in every 4-6 months to get a general assessment of safety and to keep on top of things to keep it running well. Things always came back fine with minor, normal vehicle maintenance. However, my husband noticed a crazy rust spot by my left, rear axel so he crawled under my vehicle to find that the entire frame was rusted badly. Like put your finger through the frame bad. With that, I decided to get my vehicle checked at other places, one even being a Toyota dealership and received the news that my vehicle was no longer road worthy and would not pass a safety inspection. The whole frame was rusted horribly. Something that had taken place over the last few years. There had been no mention of this severe deterioration at my Fountain Tire appts. In fact, it’s severely disappointing since I had just been to this shop and was told that everything was fine other than needing new brakes and calibers (which also seemed weird since I just had them done 18 months ago). My entire family has invested a lot of money at this shop so it’s very disheartening to have this kind of outcome.

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
