I was already on my way in an Uber, paying out of pocket, when this happened. The explanation I was given was that their system continues to accept reservations even when there are no vehicles. That is not an explanation—it’s an admission of a known system failure that the customer ends up paying for. There was no solution offered, no reimbursement for my Uber, and no accountability shown by the manager. The situation was handled poorly and caused unnecessary stress, wasted time, and extra expense. This was one of the worst rental experiences I’ve had. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location unless you’re willing to risk having your reservation canceled after you’re already on the way.
