  The workmanship done through Boyd's autobody was not at all acceptable or up to par. After they had my vehicle for several weeks, it was disheartening to get it back and find that the repairs were not complete, and poorly done. If you are considering this shop, do yourself a favour and reconsider. Would not recommend

  ⭐☆☆☆☆ — One Star I trusted Boyd Autobody on Yellowhead because it was one of my insurance provider’s recommended shops. That trust was clearly misplaced. This location operates like a volume conveyor belt — rush vehicles in, rush them out — with what appears to be little to no meaningful quality control. At intake, they promise the world: “we’ve got you covered,” “we’ll coordinate everything,” “we’ll take care of it.” Once the vehicle leaves their hands, those promises disappear. When I brought the truck in, they coordinated mechanical and related work through their own subcontracted shops and presented it as fully managed. Everything went through them. Now that the vehicle has come back in worse overall condition (outside of bodywork), their position suddenly shifted to “we only do autobody” and “insurance denied further repairs — you deal with them.” No ownership. No accountability. No willingness to stand behind the process they originally managed. The inside wheel well they replaced is now worse than it was prior to repair — something that should never happen if proper testing and inspection were performed. I was also promised mud flaps would be installed. They weren’t, and I’ve since received tickets because of it. That’s a direct result of commitments not being honored. Attention to detail has clearly not been a priority. One subcontracted repair removed my black Borla ATAK exhaust system — which matched a white truck with black trim — and replaced it with chrome tips that didn’t match the vehicle at all. While the tips were eventually corrected back to black, this shouldn’t have happened in the first place. It demonstrates a pattern of rushed work and lack of care. Communication and coordination were equally poor. I was instructed to set up appointments with outside shops for additional work coordination. I did so — only to discover the very next day the staff member responsible had gone on a week-long vacation without informing me or the other shops. I was left fielding calls and managing the situation myself. There has been no meaningful follow-up, no ownership, and no accountability shown. I have formally instructed my insurance company that under no circumstance will my vehicle return to Boyd Autobody on Yellowhead. If you are considering this location — particularly through an insurance referral — understand that my experience was defined by broken promises, inconsistent workmanship, lack of communication, and an apparent focus on throughput rather than quality. I cannot recommend this shop.

  Customer service up to par, accommodation/ hospitality was beyond excellent I'm happy I chose them to fix my vehicle would definitely recommend BOYD to everyone they went above and beyond they even wash my vehicle. Thank you BOYD

  Although I was at the wrong Auto body and glass shop. The professional staff were able to point me in the right direction.
