I just went in to renew my license since my current one is expiring soon, and immediately I was brought back to a desk (which I thought I would have to wait quite some time for since it was roughly 4:30). Lars was helping me and oh. my. god. Not only was he quick and efficient with the whole process (signing papers and new photo), but that was definitely the MOST fun I’ve ever had inside of an AMA. We were just joking around with each other and it was overall a blast. I’ve been hesitant on getting my license renewed because honestly the AMA I used to go to was just so boring and filled with the “classic monotone quietness”. But I implore you, if you’re tired of boring, GO HERE!! If I could give an extra star I absolutely WOULD! Thank you, Lars!😁

Will you have another AMA shredding event soon?

Can I renew my passport here, or can I only get a picture for it?
We offer passport photo services at all of our centres across Alberta. To learn more about this, visit ama.ab.ca/personal/passport-photo. On that page on our website, you'll also find resources on how to apply for your Canadian Passport. You can get those application forms from your nearby postal outlet or passport office. My driver's licence is due soon. Do I have to book and appointment to renew?
You do not have to book an appointment to renew your driver's licence. Just stop by one of our centres and someone from our registries team will assist you with the renewal.
Do you offer an international driver's licence here?
We sure do. The test costs $17.60, plus the cost of getting your Driver's License after you pass. Visit our website and search for 'Drivers Licence Testing' to find all the information, including what to bring with you. Good luck!
Is there a way to get a in-transit sticker for a vehicle to move?

Can I use the registry services if I am not a member?
At AMA, our registry services are member exclusive. However, you can visit our registry with someone who has an active AMA membership to use our services. Being a member does offer plenty of value.
