- JGjonah gillam1 day ago1.0I spent 4.5 hrs on hold today to find out why my home insurance was arbitrarily canceled due to some accounting error. To be then told it was not ama fault and whoever could help me was not working that day and to call back tomorrow. Absolutely atrocious customer service. Currently in the process of switching providers.

- KKkikan Kish4 days ago5.0Today I was having issues with my vehicle. I had to leave it on the side of the highway. I called AMA To Get them to tow my vehicle to my mechanic shop. I only waited on hold for maybe 10 minutes Before being transferred to the nicest call taker. I really wish I got her name. We got all my information completed quickly and she said that it could take up to an hour to get a response from the driver. Within 10 minutes I got a phone call from the tow truck driver. I met him at my vehicle within 30 minutes. The weather was getting very bad! Super windy blowing snow all in your face and everywhere. He checked my AMA card and took my keys for me. He later, let me know that my car was delivered to the shop and the keys were put in the overnight box. I just want to say I really appreciate the kindness and dedication to your job and to the community. When my car broke down, I was a hot mess. Talking to these two people from AMA made me feel so much better. I just wanna say thank you so much To the call taker and to Michael, who has the driver number 56! I’ll give you a 10 out of 10 today for sure

Shahid from Invictus Team was outstanding, very polite, respectful, and quick to assist. The whole experience was on time, careful, and stress-free.

Can AMA help me with changing my Alberta Health Care Card?

Will you have another AMA shredding event soon?
This year's shredding events have concluded, but Shredding dates for 2024 will be listed on our website as of March 6. For more information, visit ama.ab.ca/events/shredding.
Can I renew my passport here, or can I only get a picture for it?
We offer passport photo services at all of our centres across Alberta. To learn more about this, visit ama.ab.ca/personal/passport-photo. On that page on our website, you'll also find resources on how to apply for your Canadian Passport. You can get those application forms from your nearby postal outlet or passport office. My driver's licence is due soon. Do I have to book and appointment to renew?
You do not have to book an appointment to renew your driver's licence. Just stop by one of our centres and someone from our registries team will assist you with the renewal.
Do you offer an international driver's licence here?
We sure do. The test costs $17.60, plus the cost of getting your Driver's License after you pass. Visit our website and search for 'Drivers Licence Testing' to find all the information, including what to bring with you. Good luck!
Is there a way to get a in-transit sticker for a vehicle to move?

Can I use the registry services if I am not a member?
At AMA, our registry services are member exclusive. However, you can visit our registry with someone who has an active AMA membership to use our services. Being a member does offer plenty of value.
