Took my car there for an out of province inspection and to buy a set of winter tires. Was quoted $199 for the inspection over the phone originally. When I brought the vehicle in was told it was $280 but that they'd honor the original quote. Found out that one of the wheel hubs was leaking during the inspection which they fixed quickly for ~$110, bought the tires and had them put on, all in it cost me just shy of $1K but in the end they waived the inspection fee altogether.
Pretty good experience overall, with the 'waived inspection fee' I feel like everything came out to a reasonable price. Not sure I'd feel the same if I'd had to pay the extra $199.

We were visiting Drumheller for the weekend and on the way to Wayne a 1" bolt punctured our tire. After using our air compressor twice we were unsuccessful. We ended up stopped on highway 10 and miraculously a Fountain Tire showed up to help us. The owner and his son assisted to install the spare tire and once we got to the shop the tire was replaced quickly for a great price. What great service! Thank you so much!

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly.
Common ways to measure tread include the following.
- Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace.
- Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low.
- Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure.
If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.
What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?
It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling.
Common signs include:
- Vehicle pulls to one side
- Crooked steering wheel
- Uneven tire wear
- Loose or unstable steering
- Vibration in the steering wheel
If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
What’s included in the seasonal car care package?
Our seasonal car care package gets your vehicle ready for the weather ahead. It includes:
- Fresh engine oil and filter
- Chassis lubrication (as needed)
- Charging and starting system check
- Brake inspection
- Fluid top-ups
- Belt and hose inspection
- Battery test
- Tire and pressure check
- Heating/cooling system check
- Lights, wipers, and overall safety check
It’s a great way to make sure your vehicle is ready for the season.
What do the numbers on my tires mean?
The numbers on your tire’s sidewall tell you the size, load rating, and speed rating.
Example: 225/55R17 97H
- 225 – Tire width (mm)
- 55 – Height as a % of width
- R – Radial construction
- 17 – Wheel diameter (inches)
- 97 – Load rating (how much weight it can carry)
- H – Speed rating (maximum safe speed)
These numbers help us match you with the right tire.
When should I put my winter tires on?
A good rule of thumb: when you can see your breath — about 7°C and below. At that temperature, all-season tires start to harden, while winter tires stay flexible and grippy. Booking early helps you beat the rush.
