Wow! Great service at Fountain Tire Northland. I went in with no appointment to get a leak fixed. They got me in right away and it fixed within an hour. I got a thorough report on my vehicle and recommended service. Overall, service was fast and friendly. I will definitely return.

I had an unexpected flat tire and was about 5 blocks away from this Fountain Tire location. It was already 5 p.m. and took a chance and called and Connor answered - he checked with the tech, and told me to come on over. It was an hour before closing and I hobbled my car over. Akash was my tech and it was immediately determined both my brake lights were out out, a rear marker light and backup light was out, and one of my daylight running lights was out! I had no clue. The tire was a bust because I had a sidewall hole. My tire was under warranty with another provider, So, Akash wrapped up and loaded my old tire in my car, installed my spare donut, all lights fixed, and I was on my way in no time. It was so reasonably priced, especially considering the nature of being emergent repairs (before a long weekend no less), and they were both amazing in their customer service and consideration of me. I would recommend this location because of the excellent service I received. Thank you to you both, Connor and Akash!

The worst ever what they care is money, 60$ for fixing a flat tire!!!!
Didn’t expect that the spare tire tightening bolt in the trunk will be replaced with some cheap and low quality one, which it doesn’t tight enough to keep the metal gasket on the place so will driving keep hearing metals bumping each other little to know when they wanted to hand the car over they have not put the hubcap on place then I noticed that and let them know so they had to bring the car back and fix it.
They are the epitome of being sloppy and careless.

Excellent experience here at Fountain Tire. I had a slow tire leak which turned out to be a rim defect. Although Fountain Tire doesn't handle rim repairs directly, they arranged to have it repaired at a great price on my behalf. They took care of everything and did not charge for the courtesy. After all was said and done, all the work was complete and ready to pick up in 2 business days, and I was able to still drive my car during that time. They temporarily installed a spare tire so that I wouldn't be left without a vehicle.
Everyonel I dealt with was extremely helpful and friendly. Vanessa at reception went above and beyond to accommodate my very busy work schedule. She arranged everything I needed and made the entire process seamless.
Akash was friendly and informative, and made the checkout process super easy.
Daniel and Letang took care of installing the spare tire and then the repaired one. They did an excellent and very swift job. I was able to have the tires switched over between appointments, and they finished the work earlier than the time range I was given.
If I ever have any tire issues again, this is the only place I would go to.

Fountain Tire is honestly one of the best places I’ve ever gone for tire service. The service was excellent, the staff were professional, and the attention to detail was outstanding. The timing was great, the workplace was clean and organized, and the whole experience felt respectful and professional.
Their prices were also incredibly reasonable and clearly better than many other places. I previously had the same tire service done at Mr.Lube and was charged around $200 for a very simple job. At Fountain Tire, the work was done more carefully, faster, and much cleaner — and at a far better price.
What impressed me the most was how respectful they were toward customers and how precise they were with their work. It’s not easy to find that combination of professionalism, quality, and fair pricing.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for tire service. I visited the Fountain Tire Northland location, and I’m extremely satisfied with their service.
Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly.
Common ways to measure tread include the following.
- Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace.
- Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low.
- Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure.
If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.
What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?
It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling.
Common signs include:
- Vehicle pulls to one side
- Crooked steering wheel
- Uneven tire wear
- Loose or unstable steering
- Vibration in the steering wheel
If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
What’s included in the seasonal car care package?
Our seasonal car care package gets your vehicle ready for the weather ahead. It includes:
- Fresh engine oil and filter
- Chassis lubrication (as needed)
- Charging and starting system check
- Brake inspection
- Fluid top-ups
- Belt and hose inspection
- Battery test
- Tire and pressure check
- Heating/cooling system check
- Lights, wipers, and overall safety check
It’s a great way to make sure your vehicle is ready for the season.
What do the numbers on my tires mean?
The numbers on your tire’s sidewall tell you the size, load rating, and speed rating.
Example: 225/55R17 97H
- 225 – Tire width (mm)
- 55 – Height as a % of width
- R – Radial construction
- 17 – Wheel diameter (inches)
- 97 – Load rating (how much weight it can carry)
- H – Speed rating (maximum safe speed)
These numbers help us match you with the right tire.
When should I put my winter tires on?
A good rule of thumb: when you can see your breath — about 7°C and below. At that temperature, all-season tires start to harden, while winter tires stay flexible and grippy. Booking early helps you beat the rush.
