Wir haben für unsere Reise durch Kanada ein Fahrzeug über den ADAC bei National angemietet und waren äußerst zufrieden. Die gesamte Abwicklung verlief professionell; reibungslos; freundlich. Das Fahrzeug befand sich in einem technisch einwandfreien Zustand. unser Skier haben wir gut untergebracht. Während der gesamten Reise auf dem 'Powder-Highway' in winterlichen Verhältnissen hat es perfekt funktioniert. Aufgrund der durchweg positiven Erfahrung werden wir bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt definitiv wieder dort buchen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Brilliant experience with National Car Hire in Calgary from start to finish. Pick-up and drop-off were both smooth and efficient — no waiting around, no faff, just exactly what you want when you're travelling. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout, which made the whole thing feel effortless.
The car we received wasn't the one we'd originally booked, but honestly it turned out to be an upgrade — so no complaints there whatsoever! Everything was clean, well-presented, and ready to go.
If you're looking for a hassle-free car hire experience in Calgary, National delivers. Would absolutely use them again without hesitation.
Aayush was extremely warm and helpful throughout the whole process. He and his team went out of their way to help us find a car with winter tires that better matched our needs. We really appreciated how thoughtful and attentive their service was. Thank you again to Aayush and the team for making everything so smooth and easy.
After waiting 45+ minutes with a confirmed reservation, there were literally no cars available on site. Instead, dozens of customers (at least 50 people) were told to stand around while vehicles were being “relocated” from another location — with no ETA and no accountability. This is not a delay, this is a complete operational failure.
It is almost 10:30pm, people are exhausted, and families are stranded. There are kids sleeping on the floor and benches while staff offered no clear communication, no timeline, and no meaningful solution. If you know you’re taking reservations for late-night airport pickups, how do you have zero cars on-site?
Taking reservations when you cannot fulfill them is misleading at best and irresponsible at worst. This experience showed a total lack of planning, staffing, and customer care. I would strongly advise anyone traveling with children, arriving late, or needing reliability to choose another company.
This was stressful, unnecessary, and completely avoidable.

I tried renting a car with winter tires on the Web in advance of my trip. Instead of getting a confirmation, i got an email saying my rental was on hold and that someone would call me to confirm because of the winter tires. After a week without getting a call or an email, I called them. They told me they couldn't confirm if i would get a car yet because the trip was still 3 weeks away, but no worries the car is reserved. I asked how can it be reserved if you don't know if it even exists. They replied that all seasons are legal, so no worries. The lady insisted that the car they can't confirm exists is reserved. I asked again how that was possible since they don't if they have it. The lady replied that all seasons are legal, which is completely irrelevant. They never called me back. I had to rent from Budget only a week before my trip, and prices were double what they were when I originally reserved the car nobody can tell exists. It's the most idiotic customer service experience I had.
