Phoned to see if they could have a look at what I suspected was a slow puncture.
Advised to bring van straight in. Found to have a screw lodged.
Removed and repaired for free as tires bought from FT.
Great service as usual. My go to FT. Recommended.

I would reccomend this place to anyone. I have brought my car here for numerous things, OOP inspection, oil change, general repairs, and everything was done with excellence and with full transparency, and I have never felt ripped off. My family and partner also only use this place for all of their needs and have never been dissappiointed. I am also a young woman who has never been treated as such by their staff, which I greatly appreciate. Thank you!

This crew is awesome! I was in town for a quick one day tournament, drove down Friday night, and my car desperately needed an alignment, - after it came out of another shop -
Saturday is short hours at this shop, but they hooked me up, did great work, competitive pricing, and my favourite part was how they treated me, and other customers in the shop. Just real good people.

I merely popped in to make an appointment to get the wheels/tires on my vehicle swapped from the summer set to the winter set...
25•11•11 - I had an appointment today to have a wheel lug that had come loose prior to my last wheel change (and was noticed during that visit). Now I have 6 (of 6) wheel lugs on that wheel again...! Thank you Fountain Tire firstly for discovering the issue, and then effecting the repair!!
Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly.
Common ways to measure tread include the following.
- Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace.
- Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low.
- Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure.
If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.
What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?
It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling.
Common signs include:
- Vehicle pulls to one side
- Crooked steering wheel
- Uneven tire wear
- Loose or unstable steering
- Vibration in the steering wheel
If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
What’s included in the seasonal car care package?
Our seasonal car care package gets your vehicle ready for the weather ahead. It includes:
- Fresh engine oil and filter
- Chassis lubrication (as needed)
- Charging and starting system check
- Brake inspection
- Fluid top-ups
- Belt and hose inspection
- Battery test
- Tire and pressure check
- Heating/cooling system check
- Lights, wipers, and overall safety check
It’s a great way to make sure your vehicle is ready for the season.
What do the numbers on my tires mean?
The numbers on your tire’s sidewall tell you the size, load rating, and speed rating.
Example: 225/55R17 97H
- 225 – Tire width (mm)
- 55 – Height as a % of width
- R – Radial construction
- 17 – Wheel diameter (inches)
- 97 – Load rating (how much weight it can carry)
- H – Speed rating (maximum safe speed)
These numbers help us match you with the right tire.
When should I put my winter tires on?
A good rule of thumb: when you can see your breath — about 7°C and below. At that temperature, all-season tires start to harden, while winter tires stay flexible and grippy. Booking early helps you beat the rush.
