  This place/location deserves 0 stars from my experience. Decided to take my vehicle here through insurance based on reviews it had. When I first took my vehicle here to be looked at for an estimate for insurance, I had indicated that this was for an insurance claim for a hit and run and provided them with my insurance claim number and wrote it all down on the form they had me fill out before leaving. They failed to send my insurance company the estimate as they said I went in there as a "paying customer" when that was never the discussion and even upon initial phone conversation to book the estimate appointment I had indicated that this was an insurance claim from a hit and run and had also provided my claim number upon initial phone call. Eventually this got sorted after my insurance company chased them for this. When I actually dropped my vehicle off to be repaired ~a month and a half later, Tong was the GM here. Boyd had my vehicle 8 days for front bumper/light replacement along with putting 3M back on. Upon arriving for pickup and inspecting the work before leaving I had noticed the 3M was not applied correctly in many places and there was an issue with the paint when they installed the 3M, they had a cut mark in the paint and the fit of the bumper was not properly aligned. I had showed this to the General Manager, Tong while there and he also acknowledged and took responsibility for these issues. My vehicle got pre-booked to go back to them 2 months later to be fixed a second time. Upon drop off the second time, a new general manager, Shane was now here and he had agreed and recognized upon drop off that they did not do a good job on the repairs for my vehicle. This time they had my vehicle for over 3 weeks to "redo" this work. THREE weeks. I got called it was ready for pickup, and then I got called again later that they mucked up the 3M so had to re-do the 3M work again and wouldn't be ready until the next day. Upon pickup the second time, the moment Shane got out of my vehicle from bringing it out front, the poor attitude energy I received from Shane was appalling and one of the most uncomfortable interactions I have ever encountered in the service industry as a customer. We got looking at my vehicle I had asked about a mark on the top of my hood as I genuinely did not recall it being there prior and the hostility from Shane grew and I had to ask him why he is acting so hostile with me when I am calm and respectful and simply asking it to be looked into further. He did take the attitude down a notch, but it was an extremely uncomfortable interaction. We had determined it was existing from before and I was on my way - I couldn't get out of there fast enough as it had been an extremely uncomfortable experience. Upon getting home and re-inspecting my vehicle further, the fit of the bumper still was not right, gaps in places there shouldn't have been around lights and other various places, did not line up properly on the one side, the paint job was still very poor, the 3M application was awful, it looked almost as if they had just cut a 3M piece to fit and was not an actual template made for my vehicle and the quality of the 3M was a low grade cheap quality. Because of these issues, insurance sent out an appraiser to my house and spent a lot of time looking at my vehicle and the repairs done and agreed they were absolutely unacceptable. My vehicle ended up having to go to a second repair place as I no longer wanted to deal with Boyd and upon them disassembling my vehicle, found that the bumper that Boyd used was NOT OEM, but charged insurance for an OEM bumper. Furthermore, more damage was found to my vehicle that Boyd failed to find/fix 2x and was also confirmed that the grade of 3M used was one of the lowest grade/quality and came off in a million pieces (which should not happen). In my opinion, Boyd Douglasdale and the people running this place should be ashamed of themselves for trying to commit insurance fraud and I frankly don't know how they sleep at night maintaining ZERO integrity. Do not recommend. RUN.

  Professional, friendly, courteous and quick turnaround. The process from estimate to bodywork completion was a very positive experience on our brand new Subaru which suffered from a recent collision. Car looks like new. I would highly recommended Boyd Autobody & Glass for any vehicle body repair needs.

  I just took my car from the Boyd Autobody &Glass located on 29th street SE Calgary. They have replaced rear bumper and been repaired the muffler which was making noise. It is Mitsubishi endeavor 2008, but now looks like 2018 year car. Working excellent, no noise and I feel the car is in better condition now. Maybe it is same but Boyd's guys have cleaned entire car, inside and outside. Looks like 10 years newer. When I looked in the invoice I didn't find any charges for cleaning.   We have had our car in twice recently for body work. Vince and Kino were fantastic. Everything was done quickly and there customer service was fantastic. Will be recommending them to others.
