  On December 6, I visited AMA to obtain quotes for auto and home insurance. After completing the process, I was provided with competitive quotes that I intended to move forward with. The only condition was that my older home required some electrical upgrades, which my current insurance provider does not require. I spent approximately $3,000 completing the requested electrical work and gathering additional documentation AMA asked for. On January 2, I emailed my representative and was told the same day that “the home quote has been reviewed and is good to go anytime” and that I could book an appointment when ready. When I returned to AMA on January 10 to finalize the policies, I was instead given new auto and home quotes that were collectively about $800 higher than the original pricing. I was informed that because more than 30 days had passed, AMA would not honor the original quote despite the fact that all required documentation was submitted on January 2 and explicitly confirmed as accepted. This experience was extremely disappointing. I invested significant time and money based on AMA’s representations, only to have the terms change at the final stage. I am sharing this experience to caution potential customers to be very careful when relying on quoted pricing from AMA, particularly when costly conditions are required upfront.

  Great motor service. My car battery went dead but I can get it back on with AMA. They saved the day and they can drive right to you Joseph the person who helped us put it in with very great awesome service here and I got my new ID, which was a good best motor service Very amazing we got a brand new car battery for only $280. ANA saves the day. inside of this place is amazing very new and nice looking. AMA is pretty nice. People are very friendly. This location is perfect. It’s right near my house. Whenever you need to come here. It’s close perfect location. If you’re near Macleod Trail they will come fix whatever the problem is and it’s very cheap. I like it. They do a very good job!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Cancelled my AMA insurance on November 22. AMA confirmed my refund would be issued within 10 business days. Today is December 4 — no refund. Couldn’t reach anyone yesterday. Today spent a long time on hold, and only then was told the refund is “just being processed now,” clearly only because I called. AMA failed to meet their own deadlines and offered zero communication. They take monthly payments on time but can’t return money on time. Unprofessional and unreliable. I do NOT recommend AMA.

  The staff who are there are great and helpful but this location seems severly understaffed, if you can, check other locations.
