- JCJo Clermont1 day ago2.0The only good service they provide is the contractors who actually come service your vehicle. Internally it’s all shady practices like letting you upgrade with the click of a button but telling you to call to cancel (you can actually just send them an email telling them that it is an ethically shady business practice at best and they’ll cancel your renewal for you). Wanna take advantage of their sweet movie deals! Well I hope there’s an AMA on the way to your theatre because digital benefits are for suckers!

Eduardo Ramos helped us with everything. He was very professional, patient, and friendly. He helped us set up the car insurance, register the vehicle, and also arranged a bundle with flat insurance. - AJAli JafriFeb 14, 20265.0Janet took care of me amazing customer service growing up I didn't realize AMA dealt with paperwork stuff for vehicles and related issues I was getting miserable treatment by the Calgary Registeries (Taradale - Now savanna, Downtown and Sunridge) I decided to search and saw they do renewals as well I came here she took care of me was amazing and great talks also gave me an envelope for the actual paperwork lol unlike the other unprofessional Registeries Highly recommend
- JJjebroniFeb 11, 20261.0My wife got her license here, very exciting. She had to pay for a new license, standard, and updated the driver's address as it was incorrect. The AMA registry clerk confirmed this was going through, it did not arrive and now we're required to pay for another license as it was shipped to the incorrect address. This type of unnecessary expense really tolls families and disheartens us from wanting to maintain our AMA membership.

Can AMA help me with changing my Alberta Health Care Card?
You can visit any of our centres to update your health care card. To learn about what type of documentation you need in order to do this, visit ama.ab.ca/registries/personal/update-alberta-health-care.
Will you have another AMA shredding event soon?
This year's shredding events have concluded, but Shredding dates for 2024 will be listed on our website as of March 6. For more information, visit ama.ab.ca/events/shredding.
Can I renew my passport here, or can I only get a picture for it?
We offer passport photo services at all of our centres across Alberta. To learn more about this, visit ama.ab.ca/personal/passport-photo. On that page on our website, you'll also find resources on how to apply for your Canadian Passport. You can get those application forms from your nearby postal outlet or passport office. My driver's licence is due soon. Do I have to book and appointment to renew?
You do not have to book an appointment to renew your driver's licence. Just stop by one of our centres and someone from our registries team will assist you with the renewal.
Do you offer an international driver's licence here?
We sure do. The test costs $17.60, plus the cost of getting your Driver's License after you pass. Visit our website and search for 'Drivers Licence Testing' to find all the information, including what to bring with you. Good luck!
Is there a way to get a in-transit sticker for a vehicle to move?

Can I use the registry services if I am not a member?
At AMA, our registry services are member exclusive. However, you can visit our registry with someone who has an active AMA membership to use our services. Being a member does offer plenty of value. You can save and get rewarded for purchases at retailers and brands you love. You can also enjoy deals to earn AMA reward dollars, which can pay for your annual membership.
