Scam Alert! I have long suspected that this location was taking advantage of my elderly father. This year I inspected his winter changeover tires before he took them in. Not only did this location throw out his 2 good winter tires they put the 2 worst old ones back on so now he is running dangerously worn tires that needed to be replaced. My credentials? I was a tire technician, and worked for Fountain Tire. Am pissed and had my dad not made me promise not to confront this store I would have caused a big stink.

Wanted to get my breaks fixed. They told me they couldnt inspect my breaks and change them in the same day. I would need a separate appt. I asked can they just order the breaks for my car and change them without an inspection, they said no. So I book the inspection. After I dropped my car off at 8am, they called at 2pm and said my tires are over torqued and didn't want to break anything (fair) they said it could be a 3 day turn around if something broke and could I leave my car with them. I need my car for my job so nope. They didn't end up doing anything. An absolute waste of my time. I'll be taking my car to a competent mechanic instead who can do everything in one day and I won't be back here for any reason.

Called about a flat tire and was on hold for 15 minutes. Then I called again and asked for a service truck to fix the flat. Was told I would be called back with an estimated time of arrival. Its been 3 days and no one showed and no call. WORST SERVICE EVER!

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
