A distinctive Milwaukee martini bar, Blu offers an unparalleled panoramic view of downtown Milwaukee and gorgeous Lake Michigan. Enjoy the view with your favorite wine, cocktail or beer Monday through Saturday. On Friday and Saturday nights Blu features live music from 7-11PM and on weeknights consider taking up the role of 'Blutender' to raise money for a charity of your choice.
We visited Blu after dinner to celebrate our anniversary and enjoy dessert. When we arrived, we found a nice spot and were approached by the waitress within a few minutes. We kindly asked for a little more time to look over the menu, as my husband was interested in choosing a drink from their wide selection. However, the response from the waitress felt rushed , and the interaction came across as impatient.
A short time later, the waitress returned while we were still deciding, so we felt a bit pressured and went ahead and placed an order. Due to a medical condition, I cannot drink alcohol, so I asked if sparkling water was available. I was told it was not, so I chose to order only dessert (a chocolate fudge cake) while my husband ordered a drink and crème brûlée.
When the order arrived, only the crème brûlée was brought to the table, and we were informed that the chocolate fudge cake was unavailable. Unfortunately, no alternative was offered or suggested, which left us feeling a bit overlooked and unsure of how to proceed. To add to that, the waitress brought two spoons with the crème brûlée, which gave us the impression that we were expected to share it and move on, without being given the option to choose something else.
We had come in excited to celebrate a special occasion, but the experience left us feeling disappointed and somewhat unwelcome. We generally understand that service can vary and are usually happy to tip regardless, but in this case, we didn’t feel the level of service reflected the experience we had hoped for. We share this feedback in the hope that it helps improve the experience for future guests.

Blu is a nice bar on the 23rd floor of Pfister hotel, has great views and drinks. Ryan made us a great Manhattan and margarita with a cucumber foam that was delicious! Drinks came out fast but beware it is card only

A wonderful high tea experience for the whole family. Everyone found a tea they loved and the trays for kids were absolutely perfect full of treats they would eat. The views are superb as well and we loved the ambience with the live music.

I've had "Tea" in both the UK and Ireland, so was very interested in seeing what The Pfister had to offer. I took my daughter to share in this experience, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Word of warning: while you can reserve your time online, spots fill up extremely fast! I booked the Luxe menu, which offered a wonderful variety of sweet and savory options, plus choice of tea and champagne or mimosa. Seating times are for 90 minutes, which is just enough time to relax, enjoy the view and sample the tasty, bite size selection of goodies. You'll leave with a full stomach and spirit.
Blu is located on the 23rd Floor of The Pfister Hotel at 424 E Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53202.
