  Called a week before the Mario Galaxy movie to see when they were going to sell the Luma & Yoshi popcorn buckets. Lady on the phone sounded annoyed and said that the merchandise goes on sale at 11:30pm the night of the midnight showing (3/31). We get there at 11:30pm and there’s only one Luma popcorn bucket left. The lady said they must of all sold out from the online ordering that was available the DAY BEFORE the midnight showing. Basically they gave them all away to resalers and or their employees. Very unfortunate, dishonest, and poorly planned.

  As usual our very clean, delicious everything Marcus Point Cinema. We always enjoy their buttery popcorn with salt and the fountain drinks. Their Smash Burgers and and other things are really good too though. Obviously our matinés are less expensive and I just use the app and show my QR code and get the actual tickets bc I'm old school like that.

  I've been here several times and always had very courteous care. Yesterday I had two of the nicest ladies ever. They welcomed me warmly and we talked about movie and the Oscar's the night before. It was just the right amount of customer service and speed. I like the people that work here, and the theater is always clean and ready for the movie.

  My wife and I recently went to an IMAX for the first time to watch Scream7 and the screen was absolutely gigantic and like nothing we've ever experienced at a Marcus theaters. But it was preceded by us showing up to the movie on time sitting in a pitch black room for 20 minutes with no lights.,no prescreen entertainment, no music, all the while sitting on harsh 50-year-old theater chairs. When we walked up to our seats the stairs did not allow my disabled pregnant wife to turn and I had to assist her just so that way she didn't fall because of the awkwardness of their setup. After all of that, the screen finally turned on and we were then " treated " to 20 minutes of previews and ads, half of which were just promoting the " glory " of IMAX of which after sitting 20 minutes in darkness to a movie we showed up to on time just to sit another 20 minutes watching AMC dislocate their shoulders by patting themselves on the back! Listen while the screen was impressive and the movie was fun to watch, it just does not compare to the customer experience at Marcus theaters. The comfort, the accommodating theater layout, the friendly staff, the reclining cushioned chairs, the room lit up just enough for you to find your seats and not be completely uncomfortable and lastly, the loving 2 minutes old man Greg takes to welcome you to his family's theater. Nothing can compare. And for IMAX's case nothing can overcompensate.
