  We saw the 7pm showing of the Michael Jackson movie. When inside, the theatre was probably 50% booked. The woman next to me, an adult, was singing the whole time. And behind me a mother let her multiple kids run amuck. Multiple people chit chatting and on their phones in the theatre. We used the feature where you can order snacks to your seats. Placed the order for a large popcorn and a soda at 7:15. At 7:45 I went to the lobby to see why it was taking so long. I waited 5 mins for someone to even talk to me because they are so understaffed. My food and drink had been sitting on a shelf. They said the “row wasn’t listed.” I showed my receipt where it said delivery to G8 at theatre 1. Is G not the row??? It is. I asked for a remake so it was warm and head back to my theatre. At 8:15 or so I go BACK OUT to the lobby and wait for someone to talk to me again and they said they tried to deliver twice and I wasn’t there. I’m like, it’s popcorn and soda can you just put it in my hands??? They did. I returned to my theatre. The popcorn was cold. The movie ended 15 minutes later. This place is very low service, low class clientele, just trash. Won’t be returning. For $60 ($20 per person, $20 for the sofa and popcorn) this was a mega waste of money and time. I’d have a better experience watching a movie on my phone in a night club. I called several times trying to get a refund and no one answers the phones. Very low class venue.

  I recently visited the Marcus BistroPlex in Greendale, WI, and it was a really enjoyable experience. The theater offers a great mix of dining and entertainment, which makes it feel like more than just a typical movie night. The seating was comfortable and spacious, with plenty of room to relax during the film. I especially liked the in-seat dining option—it was easy to order, and the staff brought everything out quickly without interrupting the movie too much. The food itself was surprisingly good for a theater. There’s a solid variety, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful. The theater was also clean and well-maintained, and the picture and sound quality were excellent. It is a bit more expensive than a standard movie ticket, but the added comfort and dining experience make it worth it for a special night out. Overall, I’d definitely recommend the Marcus BistroPlex in Greendale if you’re looking for a fun and comfortable movie-going experience.

  First they took out twice the ticket amount on my gift card, they did put it back. Then my seat didn't recline, they wouldn't let me move to the other side of my friend. They wanted both if us to bring out tickets back and never came to fix the seat. I haven't been to this theater in years and now I remember why.

  I love the Marcus Movie tavern in Brookfield and the Marcus Majestic in Waukesha. I decided to try the southridge location for the most convenient movie time. Went on a Saturday evening. Marcus Southridge sucks! I ordered popcorn for my refillable pail and when it came to our seats, it was NOT fresh! It was cold and a little moist from condensation. It obviously was bagged earlier that day. Gross. And getting a refill during the movie? The line for ordering food was super long since there's only 2 cashiers! And there's no soda refill stations, so you can't refill you drinks! That was absolutely ridiculous, I had to go to the bar for a refill which took forever! For the amount of money that you pay for food and drink, I expect it to be fresh and easy to get refills!! Plus, the "water station" was empty! I'll never go back there.

  Theater 2 Seat F14 - seat doesn't recline. I hope that they fix it but I could've gone to AMC or Oriental Theatre if they aren't willing to fix these seats. They understaff at the front, but never hiring at the locations that I visit in Milwaukee area, but Greg Marcus always has money to film another commercial while not paying staff a living wage... this location is very hit or miss, but usually a choice when we are trying to see a movie and the show time is convenient. Just be prepared for some frustrating situations if you're getting drinks at the bar or buying concessions (better to order online from your seat at times). My only plus for this theater is that they do the free small popcorn on discount Tuesdays much easier than the regular theaters where there's like a 15-20 min line just to get the popcorn...
