I love all the nostalgia I get from coming back here. But... the place needs an update. The seats are horrible. All in all not terrible. Just not real comfortable either

Saturday March 28th My husband and I went to see Project Hail Mary - 7:30 pm showing. The theatre was extremely HOT!
My husband was sweating so much he was uncomfortable. I was getting an ill feeling from being so hot and almost falling asleep.
I had to get up in the middle of the movie because I was so dehydrated.... I went to get a drink and paid $13 for two gatorade. (Dont' get me started on the pricing of that.)
I asked if the temperature could be turned down in the theatre because it was so HOT. The young man working said - NO. He didn't even say he would look into it. He said answered No. Then proceeded to tell me how much I owe.
I walked back to the HOT theatre and suffered through the rest of the movie.
Thanks for the worst experience while watching a movie, and not caring about the temperature.

I'm writing this in hopes that Marcus will take some real feedback.
Hollywood cinema used to be the premier movie theater in the fox Valley. I remember when they built the Ultra Screen. It was Great. You had fun set and a movie. Perfect for an entertaing day.
Now as an adult I still liked doing the whole play some games with my wife and go enjoy a movie.
.... . But there is the problem. Marcus theaters seems to have forgotten about Hollywood cinema..... It has not seen a real renovation since the early 2000's. The place is seriously dated and many of the seats have tears and just are not comfortable anymore. The carpet is stained and tacky. Even the front of the building (which btw used to feel iconic) is now sun faded and falling apart.
I'm begging Marcus to please give this theater some love. I'm sure it's dwindling in movie goers but that's because of these reasons.
I miss Hollywood cinema. Honestly you have an opratunity with it. Since it needs a full overhaul it would be the perfect location for a 4dx and screen X. The closest we have is Gurnee I believe. You could seriously bring back this theater in a BIG WAY!

***Edit*** They did correct things after it was escalated so I upped the review and added pic of email for correction***
Terrible Customer experience and customer service!
Sunday the 22nd of March, tried to see "Project Hail Mary" at the UltraScreen at the westhill Marcus Location. I bought a tickets online earlier in the week. My partner is paralyzed so this always works best as we can reserve the handicap seating. It was $35 with their $5 service fee. We got $30 worth of snacks when we got there and found our seats.
First the theater was fridgidly cold, leave your winter jacket on cold. Then they started having issues with the trailers and the projector went dark. After only about 15 minutes they said the show was cancelled, we could go into the 1 pm showing in the regular theater. This didn't work for us, for seating and that was not what we paid for as that was a cheaper showing. No one explained refunds or anything like that till people started questioning things. No one seemed to know what was going on and the front house manager was running around all over the place. Finally we got our refund and we're then told we were going to eat the convenience fee.
This totally felt like theft. We paid for a service and they couldn't provide. What did I pay a fee on, a chance to see a movie? This is ridiculous. Message customer support and got the most tobe deaf response back which I included.
So, now if we want to see the same movie again, reserve seats, we will be paying roughly about $65 again(food and entry), for the same movie, after paying $35 already for a service fee and two drinks and two snacks that are anything better than gas station fare.
So, that $100 for two people to see one movie at an outdated theater that can't afford heat apparently or working equipment.
