Came here for a pop concert and I was blown away by how beautiful this arena is! The atmosphere is incredibly modern and vibrant. The acoustics were fantastic for the show, but I also loved exploring the concourse. There are so many great photo ops—definitely check out the 'Living Wall' with the plants and the Seattle skyline mural for pictures. The lighting throughout the venue is great, and the bar areas are super stylish. It feels more like a high-end experience than a typical stadium. Highly recommend for any music lover!

No matter how much we love the experience at CPA, I think my favorite reviews are from visiting fans. Listening to visitors talk about how amazing it is tells me how much it really stands out. But I do miss the display showing an underwater scene like you really are descending into the depths. I really wish that would come back.

Climate pledge fronts support for women’s hockey but does not actually support it. Six home games so far this season with two security lines open at every door and huge, stressful, ridiculous lines to get in as a result. I’ve never waited as long to go to a men’s hockey game. Get with the program, climate pledge. Equally support men’s and women’s sports or accept the reputation that you don’t.

A large arena with friendly staff, lots of various types of events, and plenty of seating. The arena is clean and relatively easy to navigate once you're able to orient yourself with the map & the levels of the arena (LL4 - Upper Concourse, etc). There's plenty of concessions and self-serve type stores from Amazon. I think the only thing that has caused me some confusion is that they close off certain parts of the arena and completely close off all or most concessions during under-populated/under-sold games or events. I went to a Seattle U game on 12/6 and spent all of 3rd and 4th Quarters walking the levels to try and find any open concessions 😬 Unfortunately, none were open wherever I looked. There may have been some availability of certain concessions or services before and during the 1st half of the game though, as I saw some folks with various types of food through the 1st half of the game. I tried looking in the Kraken app, online for the arena, and even on forums to see if anyone could verify that this was a common occurrence or just a one off and I didn't find anything. I've been fortunate to visit twice after winning some tickets through my work and that meant I had access to a couple of free concessions like popcorn, water, and Pepsi products but I think I would have been disappointed if I attended the game with a regular ticket and didn't realize there wasn't going to be food/drink/other services available for the event, either the whole time or just part of the time, without knowing.

Went to see Dave Chapelle. Arrived a little before 7:30pm which was the start time and saw there was still a long line to get in. Took us almost an hour to get inside because a part of the checkin process was putting your phone in a secured pouch to prevent people from taking videos of the show.
I hope they can streamline this better so it wouldn’t take so long, but the main reason I am giving 1 star was because of the sound issues. Both of the openers and even the first half of Dave’s set were incomprehensible because the mic audio was bad. Not sure if it was only in our section (Section 8), but it was just so difficult to understand what they were saying so we missed so much context and so many punchlines. I could tell others in our section couldn’t hear either because there so many people not laughing. It was finally fixed it in the middle of Dave’s set after what seemed like people yelling at the soundboard guys to fix it. Looked like one guy even got escorted by police for being extra disruptive, but maybe his outburst helped get the audio fixed.
After reading some other reviews from the night it sounds like multiple people in nearby sections were pointing out the sound issue to staff, but also I’m not sure why this wasn’t figured out during sound check in the first place. Was there no sound check? Felt like amateur hour. I don’t think Dave knew about the sound issue in the moment, but I wished the venue team took accountability. If we can’t get a partial refund or vouchers for such a poor experience, I hope they do all they can to make a better experience for the next comedy show.
I just read in a previous review that Climate Pledge Arena probably isn’t a good venue to watch a comedian, and I agree now. We saw Kevin Hart here a couple of years ago and that was fine, but I probably won’t take my chances and won’t come back here to watch a comedian. Better off in smaller venues.
