We went to Climate Pledge Arena for a UFC event and honestly, it was an awesome experience.
The first thing that stood out was how intimate the arena feels. It’s not one of those places where you feel super far removed from the action, there really didn’t seem to be a bad seat in the house. Everywhere you looked, people had a great view.
The overall vibe was great too. The crowd energy, the setup, everything just felt dialed in for a big event like UFC.
Definitely a venue I’d go back to again. Great experience all around.

Every time I come here they straight up lie about the allergy friendly foods they have. Every time I go to the hot dog place, they tell me they don’t have gluten free buns. I know it’s not true because I got one the first time I went. Now they are just super rude whenever I ask and say no. Same story at other vendors here. Don’t advertise that you have allergy friendly foods when you do not.

The food is good, the venue is clean, but the entrance lines are long slow and poorly managed. This makes it challenging for families. We arrived 45 minutes early for the torrent game and ended up in the bag line for more than an hour missing half of the first frame. Once we made it in to the scanners security demanded we separate and send those with out bags in a different line. This separated us from our ticket holder which made the same security who separated us yellow at us for not having tickets ready. It was obvious that security and line management need better training and oversight.

The arena was beautiful and the game was fun. Unfortunately I have to echo what other people have said about how some of the staff treat disabled people. I’m a btk amputee and got in the regular line with my friend. When I saw the disabled access line I asked security if we could use that (because of my prosthetic) and they said yes.
After my friend and I got in the disabled line we heard a woman shouting at us, she used an e-scooter, that we can’t use the line and how it was for ADA purposes. I lifted up my pant leg to show her my prosthetic and told her security said we could use the line. While she did leave us alone, it was humiliating and everyone was watching. I saw her going up to older people with canes and letting them know they could use the line, but not everyone is as “visible”, and being younger with a disability, I cannot help but feel that my age was a factor. There were a few other things that happened but that was the worst part.

This was my second experience at the Climate Pledge Arena, the first being back in 2014. The venue itself is great, there really isn't a single seat that doesn't give you a great view of the stage and pricing seems to be really reasonable for arena tickets.
My one and only complaint is that the staff are poorly trained on how to interact with and treat disabled guests, and maybe even ADA laws itself.
When arriving to the arena, I was directed to an entrance with stairs. I politely asked if there was an entrance with an elevator and was directed to an ADA entrance. As I walked up to said entrance, I was told they were just closing it up and I could walk down to a different entrance. I, again, politely refused as I am disabled and wanted to limit the number of steps I took that night (this is NOT something I should even have to explain to anyone).
Every single staff member I interacted with upon entering seemed annoyed that they had to let me in through the ADA entrance and open it back up for me. My question is...why were they closing it up in the first place??
Additionally, I was told to take off my "Ice Out" pin because the arena did now allow "Political Propaganda". I thought that was wild considering the venue was literally created in support of Climate politics.
Anyways, the concert was great and I had a fun and easy time getting into the arena and to my seat on the floor. I thought I could avoid running into any ADA issues on my way out but...nope! I tried to access the elevator and three employees were blocking it and announced that it was "for disabled people". I had to, once again, share that I'm disabled and will be using the elevator which I should NOT have to ever do.
Disabled people do not owe an explanation or have to announce their disability for you to allow them access. Climate Pledge Arena employees must be trained on this. I'm sure I'm not the only disabled person feeling this way after visiting this venue.
