  I have worked with Shelly so many times that I’ve genuinely lost count and every single time it’s my best photoshoot yet. Shelly’s genuine joy for creating beautiful art is so infectious she makes it easy to shake off any awkward “what do I do with my hands” moments and dive into pure creativity with both feet. Shelly always strives for perfection in her photos because she always achieves it. And you always know when she achieves it because she squeals and runs over to show you the back of the camera immediately. Whether you’re an experienced model or not, Shelly will make you feel like a million bucks. I brought my boyfriend who had never modeled before for a photoshoot and Shelly was able to make him feel comfortable and safe despite being so far out of his personal comfort zone. Another time I brought my tiny rescue dog that actively shies away when I try to take pictures of her on my phone and we created the most beautiful “mommy and me” style photos that I will treasure forever. If you need someone who can capture truly magical moments perfectly in time look no further than Shelly Erwich.

  I had a great time shooting with Shelly at the studio. From the moment I walked into the studio—everything was set up, cozy, and ready to go. There was even a comfortable space for me to change. We went through multiple outfits and setups, and I appreciated how she helped guide my posing while still letting me do my thing. Her fun energy made the hours fly by—it felt like hanging out and being creative. She even had accessories that ended up working nicely with my looks, and I got so many amazing photos, I still can’t pick a favorite. The whole session was a creative flow from start to finish, can’t wait to shoot again! P.S. She's got ADORABLE birds too.

I love going to her studios; she's always timely, prepared with lots of outfits, set ideas and poses in mind. She gives incredible energy and direction throughout the shoot, so there’s never a moment where you’re asking,”what should I do next?”. Shelly’s always excited to learn and try new things which makes her art captivating and unparalleled with others.

  I’ve had the pleasure of shooting with Shelly a few times now and I am consistently impressed with her professionalism, her talent, and just by how fun she is to work with! Shelly really has a skill for putting models at ease in front of the camera and bringing out the absolute best in the subjects of her photography. She is a photographer I would highly recommend and I hope I’ll get many more chances to shoot with her in the future. I recently did a mother/daughter shoot with Shelly and she was so incredibly sweet to my 7 year old and put her totally at ease during the shoot. My daughter felt like a rock star the whole time and was playing and laughing during the shoot. The images that Shelly captured are gorgeous and I will always treasure them. Most of all, she made the shoot such a special experience for us!
