    As loyal customers of iPic since 2012, we are very offended by Karen Guzman’s disrespectful conduct toward us on Sunday. We were at iPic Redmond for a refund on our $300 gift card that was promised by Megan last week, since the theater may close due to bankruptcy. We asked for the manager on staff and Karen confirmed arrogantly that she is the general manager. She denied the refund and talked at us disrespectfully, going in circles as she contradicted herself over and over. She said international investors are finalizing the purchase of IPic and the theater is not closing. When I referenced The Seattle Times article from March 3rd regarding the bankruptcy, she said they made up the story and we should not believe what we see on social media. Then she said iPic did file bankruptcy in February and had 60 days to find a buyer and could close down. Then she said the investors are currently on site and are buying the company. She then boasted about how she will reprimand her employee Megan for promising the refund of our gift card. Karen is unprofessional and highly unqualified to be working in a customer facing environment. It turns out she is not the general manager, but instead an assistant. Her disrespectful conduct and false representation is reprehensible and clearly a direct contribution to iPic’s failure and bankruptcy.

    My wife and I love this theater. It is conveniently located in the redmond town center mall, has delicious food and drinks, and the seats are very comfortable. Tickets are reasonably priced for the type of theater ($21 after tax) but the food can be a bit pricey, which is to be expected of these types of theaters. Overall 8.5/10 and we absolutely love it. Sad to see if close in 2026.

    I’m really disappointed with my recent visit to IPIC. I haven’t been in about two years, and it used to set the standard for luxury and premium movie experiences. Unfortunately, this visit was nothing like I remembered. Our seats were literally falling apart, with the leather detached. The blankets had sticky stains, which was very off-putting. We were also charged an 18% service fee, yet the service didn’t match that at all. Our popcorn came ice cold, and our drinks arrived in the middle of the movie, even though we ordered them 20 minutes before it started. I truly hope IPIC can bring back the premium service and experience we were excited about in the past.

    The worst customer experience I can imagine. Don't waste your money! I’ve been an iPic customer and Silver Member for over 12 years, but this visit was incredibly disappointing. A system failure prevented me from upgrading my membership before the movie. Our server handled it professionally, but management later interrupted the movie, refused to wait, and escalated the situation unnecessarily. After the film, we were accused of language I did not use and told we were no longer welcome—without being allowed to explain. We lost a significant portion of the movie and left shocked by how dismissively the situation was handled. UPDATE: I reached out to their customer service department, CEO and COO, to no avail. Clearly, they have no interest in customer service.
