- AMAlexa MazJan 5, 20261.0a guy came up to us within 5 minutes of sitting down in our movie, and kept telling us that we needed to leave because we snuck in. i then showed him and my friends tickets that say we were in fact in the right spot. he then said again that we need to leave and told us the seats we were in weren’t occupied, which was an issue on his end because we had bought tickets when we got there and had bought our food and everything. the guy was bugging us for i kid you not 10 minutes and we had no idea what was going on in our movie anymore because of him harassing. and after the movie we found out he had harassed the group behind us for sneaking in before we got there. riverton cinemark needs to take accountability for their employees, cause when my group and the other group tried to ask for a manager and then they rudely declined. will not be returning, shoulda stuck to megaplex.

Our family has been attending this movie theater since they opened the riverton location. We feel confident with this awesome management that we will love & enjoy to keep coming. It was a comfortable experience with very adjustable and supportive seats. The large screen and great special effects of the movie made for an enjoyable experience. Finding parking close to the theater required a few rounds around the lot.
- JHJacob HartDec 4, 20251.0Cinemark ran a heavily advertised five day promotion for a zootopia 2 lorcana card that you were supposed to get for seeing the movie. I made a point of buying tickets early, first showing on Thanksgiving, on the morning of day two of the advertised promotion since my family likes Lorcana. Cinemark was the only theatre who had them so we made a point of buying tickets here even though they were a little more expensive. I show up and ask the kid at the ticket counter about it and he looks like he's seen a ghost. He acts like he has no idea what I'm talking about until finally admitting to me their out. I ask to talk to a manager and he directed me to awkwardly seek out the assistant manager who is working the food area. I wander my way back over to the food line, leaving my family to find seats so I can talk it over. The assistant manager claims they didn't get very many and says people have had success talking to "corporate" to get one sent to them. So I watch the movie mostly unconcerned because surely corporate will help me. Meanwhile I lose the only leverage I could have had because I had no way to switch theaters at that point and didn't want to disappoint the kids by missing the movie we took time out of Thanksgiving to see. Turns out Corporate is just the manager's word for the terrible Cinemark customer service line, who acts like it's utterly impossible to get my family a couple of trading cards (which have mysteriously appeared in large quantities on eBay, something I'm sure had nothing to do with Cinemark managers failing to protect their stash of cards). "Corporate" is more interested in lecturing me on the small print of their website that says quantities limited (I looked again, it's there but VERY small, see the ad for what I'm talking about) than say, calling around to the neighboring theaters to see if someone can set some aside for us. Again, we showed up for the first showing on day two of a five day promotion and they couldn't give any to us. So, needless to say it was not a good experience and it's going to take some convincing to get me into cinemark again, especially this location.
