The Marriott Center is named after its primary benefactor, J. Willard Marriott, founder of the Marriott Corporation hotels. Finished in 1971, the Marriott Center is used not only for basketball games, but also for devotionals, forums, firesides, dance performances, major concerts, community activities, and commencement exercises. It contains two press interview rooms, players' locker rooms, general purpose reception areas, a first-aid office, a weight-lifting facility, and a Cougar Club room.

The place was filled to the rafters. It was an amazing game from start to finish. Lived the energy and the noise.

The staff are friendly and polite, the seats are comfortable, and the air is kept cool regardless of crowd size.

What a great place to watch a BYU game!!!! The atmosphere was great, no swearing, and it was so fun to watch. The food was pricy but it was overall a great and exciting time.
