Most pianos require a tuning 2x per. Humid summers vs dry winters take a toll on pianos; adjusting each season will keep things in tip top shape. At a minimum a piano must be tuned annually to avoid damage.

Has it been more than 2 years? Your piano will need a pitch raise before it can be tuned. This service contemplates the extra time needed. I'll perform minor repairs and cleaning work if time allows. NOTE: for severely out of tune or below pitch pianos a 2nd visit may be required after 2 weeks. I'll let you know what to expect at the beginning of the tuning appointment,

These system keep the internal humidity of the piano perfect despite humid summers and dry winters. The system keeps the relative humidity stable in the piano promoting minimizing seasonal shrink and grow of the wood. This keeps tuning pins tight, prevents cracks and warping, and prevents rust. In NOVA where humidity ranges from 90%+ in summer and 17% in winter, these systems are a must. Even homes that have central air experience fluctuations, especially in the winter. I always install the option backcover to give the maximum benefit.

I'll come to look over a piano and give a detailed condition report, repair estimates, and I'll answer any questions you may have, An additional fee is assessed if a detailed written report is needed, eg. an insurance claim.
