A group of us were in town for a wedding over the weekend, and stumbled upon UP on the Roof as a place to spend our last evening together before coming home. We had a reservation, showed up at the host stand, and stood there for 5 minutes or more when someone behind the inside bar told us that we could get service at the outside bar. We told them that we had a reservation, and they assured us there was someone out there who could help us. Aside from the bartender, there was no other staff on site. We stood at the bar for over 10 minutes to try to ask the bartender for assistance. When she finally got to us, she took 2 out of the 5 drinks we wanted to order, walked away, asked another customer for their order, went inside, and then came back to us. When she was getting our drinks, we informed her that we had a reservation and asked how we could get our table, and she said, "I work behind the bar; anything at the tables are not my responsibility," to which we asked if we could order at the bar since we were looking to eat dinner, and she said, "You can order it here, but I will NOT be bringing it to your table."
As a group of 5, we easily would've had a $700+ bill at that establishment, but due to the severe lack of customer service and pure rudeness of the staff, we decided to go across the street to Maggies and had an incredible experience.
