W movie (the odyssey) but damn those speakers are so quiet. Not sure if it’s just theater 4 but couldn’t hear the voices at all.

I’m a Cinemark fan, especially over Megaplex. This location often has seats available for popular movies when other locations are sold out. But, it is certainly because this location is a bit old and dated. The sound isn’t up to par and it is getting tired.

I will choose other theaters first before coming back here. Audio during our movie cut out twice for around 1 minute each time during important dialogue moments. I have never seen that happen in a theater before.

Great easy ticket buying experience. The guy working at the desk was very patient when I was ordering my ticket even though it took me a while to choose my seat because I have social anxiety that I choose to sit alone in movie theaters so I don’t have to hear others talk or so I can make my own comments while the movie is going on without disturbing anyone else. The only thing that I didn’t like was the fact that I waited in line for popcorn and I found out that this location does not sell the popcorn seasoning that goes with the popcorn. I usually don’t eat popcorn unless it has that seasoning that most theater sell. Of course I could have looked at the menu on the board to see if it had the seasoning, but I never went to a theater that didn’t have it so I was not expecting them to not carry the seasoning containers. And I’m not talking about salt and pepper. I’m talking about actual cheese flavored seasoning. Most theaters have the four seasonings there are blue yellow, green and another type of seasoning but this theater didn’t have any of the seasonings. The bathrooms are really clean. And I noticed that I was moving really fast when I had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the movie and when you feel good energy at a movie theater that is something I would consider to be a positive thing because some places you go you will notice your body feeling sluggish and in this specific movie theater, my body did not feel sluggish. Some movie theaters I would even avoid going to the bathroom at all because I know the bathroom trip will take at least 5 to 10 minutes. This bathroom trip took me about one or two minutes, even though the bathroom was not directly next to this movie theater projection room, which I think at the movie theater there should be a bathroom directly next to each theater for the shortest bathroom trips possible. Obviously, an at home theater would be the fastest option because you could pause the movie. But if the movie theaters are looking to make more money, having a bathroom near every single theater would be the best option.

Whoever in management thought that it was a good idea to open theater number 5 even with no AC and the projector malfunctioning needs to be fired immediately. We went and saw Spiderman here and the theater got to 90 degrees while watching, with just a tiny fan placed to try and make airflow for the 90+ people in the room. The projector was flickering the entire time, and completely cut out during key scenes in the movie. I can forgive a theater being closed for malfunctions, but the decision to knowingly let customers book tickets for that theater and then roast alive with no discount or refund is unbelievable. The best part? That theater is still running shows even after they saw it completely die during our showing and received tons of complaints! My advice? This is a dying theater in a dying mall with management that clearly doesn't care anymore. Take your business elsewhere rather than rolling the dice and finding out the hard way that they knowingly sent you into an oven with a faulty projector for your show.
