What a waste of time this "museum" is. Drove down from Wyoming at the invitation of some BYU alum friends in Utah and we visited a few weeks ago. They had visited several years ago and raved about the place. Apparently in the intervening years, BYU had "renovated the place. What that meant was that the BYU football offices, cafeteria, etc. had been xpanded and the museum had basically been shoved to the side. My friends it used to contain all the BYU sport (on three floors) but now the other sports have been farmed out to other buildings. What is left is just a few bits of memorabilia (a couple of helmets, a few trophies, and a lot of charts) on the walls between the various football areas. Frankly, if I were BYU's administration, I would be highly embarrassed calling this a museum or a "Legacy Hall". It is simply filling the walls in the building with odd bits of football memorabilia. Visitors are basically in the way, honestly. I am also a BYU alum, but this was certainly not worth the drive down from my home in Wyoming. Actually, it wouldn't be worth a walk across the street. Really sad, BYU. You should be ashame. For anyone thinking of visiting, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. Oh, and all the parking around the building is for football staff and players, so you'll be hiking in from the north 40 parking lot.
