Brooklyn and the girl with curly hair were a little confused. Are they lost or new? Other than that, everything was fantastic! The Odyssey was an enjoyable experience. #FrankSinatra

Phenomenal! Brooklyn & David were amazing at their jobs. I saw so much passion in their tender hearts. David will become a magician and Brooklyn will become a wedding planner.

We’ve visited this Cinemark location several times, and there is definitely a lot to appreciate. The staff is always friendly, the food selection is good, and the seating is generally clean and comfortable (cupholders can occasionally be a little sticky, but that’s completely understandable for a busy theater). However, the main reason for the 3-star rating is ongoing disappointment with special event promotions. We intentionally drove past our usual local theaters specifically to catch two major fan events here: Jackass: Best and Last Fan Event – We booked tickets weeks in advance through the official event site for the 7:00 PM showing, which was advertised to include an exclusive poster. When we arrived, staff told us they didn't have any. Super Troopers 3 Premiere – We showed up specifically looking forward to buying the specialty movie merch (the popcorn bucket/soda cup), but the staff wasn't aware of the promo and mentioned it might be something received later. We actually prefer two other theaters closer to home for their seats and expanded menus, but we specifically chose Cinemark for these chain-exclusive perks. Knowing twice now that the advertised merch/extras wouldn't be available, we would have just saved the drive and stayed local. It's a nice theater overall, but if you’re going out of your way for a specific fan promo or collectible, manage your expectations.

I spent approximately three hours trying to sign into my Cinemark account so that I could use my rewards and purchase movie tickets. I contacted Cinemark by phone for assistance, and instead of actually addressing the possibility that there was a problem with Cinemark's system, I was essentially blamed for the problem and told to contact corporate. I want to make something very clear: this was not an issue with my phone, my internet connection, or my ability to use technology. I am perfectly capable of troubleshooting technology, and I went well beyond the normal troubleshooting steps. I tried another device and verified that the problem was occurring independently of my phone. Eventually, I discovered that the Cinemark website would work if I accessed it through a particular route, while the Cinemark app itself continued to have problems. By the time I was finally able to get everything working, I had spent so much time fighting with Cinemark's technology that I missed the movie times I was originally trying to attend. Unfortunately, the problems did not stop there. The app has another major usability problem when selecting movies and showtimes. I have Cinemark American Fork selected as my preferred theatre. However, when I browse for a movie and select it, Cinemark repeatedly asks me to select my location or enter my ZIP code instead of simply showing me the showtimes for the theatre I have already selected. This makes absolutely no sense from a customer's perspective. Cinemark already knows which theatre I am trying to use. The American Fork showtimes are available, and the system is capable of displaying them. Yet instead of simply presenting those showtimes, the app repeatedly pushes me back toward selecting a location or providing location information. I am also very uncomfortable with the repeated requests to use my device's location when I have already explicitly selected the theatre I want. I understand that location services can be useful, but customers should not have to repeatedly provide additional location information simply to accomplish something the app already has enough information to do. At minimum, there should be a straightforward option to use the theatre the customer has already selected without repeatedly prompting for location data. The entire experience is unnecessarily difficult: • I could not reliably sign into my account through the app. • I spent approximately three hours troubleshooting a problem that ultimately appeared to be on Cinemark's end. • I verified the problem on more than one device. • I eventually discovered that the website could be accessed successfully through one method while the app still failed. • I missed the movie times I was attempting to attend because of the amount of time I lost dealing with Cinemark's systems. • The app repeatedly fails to respect my selected theatre when I try to browse movies and showtimes. • Instead of simply displaying American Fork showtimes, it repeatedly asks me to select a location or provide my ZIP code/location. • When I contacted customer service, I did not receive meaningful troubleshooting or ownership of the problem. Instead, I was directed toward corporate and made to feel as though the problem was somehow my fault. This is particularly disappointing because Cinemark actively promotes its app, rewards program, online ticket purchasing, and ability to reserve seats in advance. Those services are supposed to make going to the movies easier, not turn purchasing a ticket into a three-hour technical ordeal. And adding insult to injury. I just found out points I earn by paying astronomical prices are time sensitive. 39 of mine just expired. This just seems a bit one-sided especially for such mediocre service
