I have had never had such horrible experience. The people are rude as hell nowhere foes it say anything is closed early. We made reservations and can't even do the entire experience paid over $100 plus $70 in parking and not even close to what I paid for. And not a single person is helpful here. And nothing i can do about it. So I am out $170 and can't even take the damn tour

Last Friday, my family and I went to San Antonio for vacation. We were celebrating our second child's first birthday and decided to have dinner at the restaurant in the Tower of the Americas. What a disappointment! The food was terrible, the hygiene was awful, and the service was beyond words. When we wanted to sing "Happy Birthday" to our baby, only the same person who had been giving us terrible service came and handed us a lighter to do it ourselves. I really recommend you don't waste your money at that place; it's so expensive! What a bad experience!

I had a reservation for 2:00 PM at Chart House Restaurant at the Tower of the Americas in San Antonio, but the experience started off very poorly. Despite arriving on time with a confirmed reservation, I was left waiting at the entrance as if I was begging to be allowed in. What made it even more frustrating was that the restaurant was not busy at all—it was a Monday afternoon around 2:00 PM, and there were plenty of empty tables.
A reservation should mean something. If guests make the effort to arrive on time, the restaurant should honor that commitment instead of making them wait unnecessarily without any explanation. The lack of organization and hospitality left a terrible first impression. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect the level of service I expected from a restaurant with such a well-known reputation.

The elevator was broken when I first got there. Took roughly 20 minutes just to get up to the restaurant and I was first in line. Once up there was seated rather quickly however I sat there and waited for water for about 10 minutes then another 10 for my waitress to stop by.
She didn't bother going over the menu with me just asked if I was ready to order. She did mention the lava cake and mini lava cake and that they require 45 minutes to cook so I had to order it then or wait so I ordered the mini lava cake.
When my appetizer showed up (calamari) it was luke warm. She insisted it was served right out of the frier, but it definitely sat for a bit before arriving.
My prime rib arrived and looked delicious, but I was never given a fork, one wasn't on the table when I sat down and she walked away before I realized. Was a bit before she came back around and was able to ask for one. By then my meal had cooled off. It was still tender and good flavoring but was cold.
Finally after I was finished with dinner she brought out the lava cake which again looked amazing. Once again though, it left me wanting. It was COLD. First thing I did was split it down the middle and try the chocolate center which was nearly solid. . The cake itself was barely warm.
