Worst experience we have had at a family entertainment venue.
We were visiting with a special-needs child and a diabetic child, and we had brought a small amount of specially prepared food for them because of their dietary and medical requirements. We completely understand that Austin’s has a strict no outside food or drink policy, even for water, so we explained the situation and simply asked whether an exception could be made for the children. We even paid for the full buffet for everyone.
The response was extremely disappointing. The supervisor told us that the Health Department does not allow any outside food under any circumstances, regardless of a person’s health condition. When I tried to understand this further, he became rude, said, “This conversation is over,” and simply walked away.
His manager was no better. Instead of listening or trying to find a reasonable solution, he essentially told me that he had already given me the answer, that this should be enough, and that he did not need to explain anything further. Again, the explanation was that the Health Department had mandated this. A plain lie.
Whether this is truly a Health Department requirement or Austin’s own policy, the way this was handled was appalling. There was no empathy, no attempt to understand the needs of two children with genuine medical requirements, and no effort to find any reasonable accommodation. The attitude from both the supervisor and manager was cold, dismissive and unnecessarily rude.
A family entertainment business should know how to deal respectfully with families who have children with special medical needs. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Austin’s Park and I personally would not support this business again.

I took my granddaughters to Austin’s for a girls day and we all had the best time! They loved the indoor roller coaster and rode it 10 times! Their second favorite was the tower drop ride. We had a delicious lunch buffet and a great time at the arcade. Everyone was so kind and exceptionally helpful, even during the morning hours when employees were covering multiple rides. We will definitely go back!

My son was there yesterday. We brought him to play before he started school. We had a terrible experience with one of the staff members.
Since they weren’t wearing a name tag, I’ll just say he is a young man with black hair. My son wanted to ride again because he loves the rides, but this staff member told him, “No, get out.”
What a rude and insensitive person; he looked tired and annoyed. If he didn’t feel like working, maybe he shouldn’t go to work because customers pay for unlimited rides.
His attitude towards my son has made my son wary to continue playing. This worker didn’t realize that his attitude is hurting Austin's image.

This review is specifically about the terrible service we received from one of the larger women working in the kitchen/drink area, who approached me and my family with an extremely aggressive, hostile attitude.
For context, drinks stop being available after 7 p.m. My family and I had already been standing at the drink station for about 5–10 minutes BEFORE 7, waiting for an employee to refill the cups. Cups were being put out slowly and other customers were grabbing them, so by the time we were finally able to get what we needed, it was barely a minute past 7.
That’s when this employee came over acting immediately irritated that we were still there. Instead of politely saying they needed to begin cleaning, she approached us with an aggressive tone and started making exaggerated hand gestures literally INCHES from my face while telling us we needed to move.
I didn’t argue with her. I stood there and let her finish speaking. She then looked directly into my face and, with an incredibly confrontational attitude, said, “Soooo y’all need some’n?”
Yes. We did. We needed the cups that your staff had failed to have stocked before the drink station closed.
The attitude was disgusting and completely unnecessary. Her body language, tone of voice, facial expression, and the way she was gesturing directly in my face made an incredibly basic interaction feel confrontational. There were children and families standing around watching this happen.
Nobody expects restaurant employees to be thrilled every second they’re at work. But if you’re working around customers, you should at least have enough patience and professionalism to say, “Hey, we’re about to clean this area. Once you get what you need, could you please step over?”
Instead, she behaved like our presence was personally inconveniencing her.
Management needs to seriously address the attitude and professionalism of some of the employees working in the kitchen area. Customers shouldn’t have to wonder whether asking for something as basic as a cup is going to result in an employee getting in their personal space and speaking to them like they’re looking for a confrontation.
Absolutely unacceptable customer service.

Overall, we had a good experience at Austin’s Park & Pizza, but there were definitely some highs and lows. Some of the adult staff working the buffet and back bar were unfortunately pretty rude and not very welcoming. On the other hand, the younger staff working the outside attractions were AMAZING—so patient, friendly, and helpful with the kids!
A HUGE shoutout to Xavier and Tina (chef) at the buffet! Even during busy peak hours, they were both so sweet, attentive, and helpful. ❤️ The front desk staff was also very patient and helpful, which we really appreciated.
If you’re coming with a large group, I definitely recommend looking into the party room/package options because it can save you. Also, figure out exactly which attractions the kids actually want to do beforehand so you’re only paying for what they’ll really use.
We had a nice time overall, and the staff members who went out of their way to be kind definitely made a difference! 🫶🏽
