  I've been here a couple times recently and it's always a decent experience. I've had a good time with the staff (which is a very nice surprise considering how understaffed they seem to be.) The theater is usually quite empty when I've gone, so that's always pleasant. Depending on the time of day, it can go from so dead you think it's closed upon first look to relatively bustling on some afternoons. If you're looking for a place in the Lufkin area to have a cinema experience, this place will get you that. Everything is decently high quality. I only deduct a star because at times the theater can feel dingy and not entirely kept up, for example the floor in auditorium 3 was quite sticky and the bathrooms are acceptable but far from perfect. Overall a pleasant and enjoyable experience, will return again!

  My friend and I went to the Cinemark in Lufkin 2 days ago to watch obsession, and while we did enjoy the movie, the theater wasn't quite what I expected it to be. I understand it's one of the only two theaters that we still have left since the one here in Nacogdoches is closed, but I was still really surprised by how small it was compared to the other Cinemark locations I've gone to, I really expected a larger lobby, and a bigger concession area, and the amenities like self serve drink stations. The theater was clean mostly, and the staff were really friendly, but it really just didn't have the same experience that I expected it too from its other locations. Like I said it wasn't bad by any means, but it really did just fall short of my expectations. I'd still go back to see another movie, but I really hope they continue to improve.

  The movie about Michael Jackson was awesome. I got to take two of my great grands to see it. There were only 5 of us in the theater but we really enjoyed the sodas and popcorn as well. God bless you guys!
