Had a chance to stop by during some downtime and was genuinely impressed with the experience. The lounge itself is beautifully designed, with plenty of comfortable seating and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. The highlight of my visit was the exceptional service. Sabine was welcoming, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made excellent recommendations and ensured everything was taken care of seamlessly throughout my visit.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at H Bar. As someone who also works in the service industry, I fully understand and respect the importance of policies, dress codes, and maintaining standards. However, the way this situation was handled fell far short of the level of hospitality I would expect. I arrived wearing a tasteful white dress and gold sandals and was denied entry for allegedly not meeting their “business casual” dress code. When I asked for clarification, the staff simply told me to look at the dress code on the website, despite them standing right in front of me and being fully capable of explaining what specifically was considered inappropriate about my outfit. The interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. To make matters worse, I was told my attire was not appropriate because there could be children in the hotel. This explanation made little sense given that it was around 11:00 PM on a Sunday night, and my outfit was a simple white dress with gold sandals—not revealing, offensive, or disruptive in any way. The entire interaction left me feeling judged and looked down upon rather than treated like a valued guest. Luxury hospitality is not just about having standards; it’s about treating people with respect and professionalism when enforcing those standards. As someone in the service industry, I know that difficult conversations can be handled with courtesy and clear communication, which unfortunately was not the case here. I left feeling embarrassed, confused, and unwelcome. Based on this experience, I would not recommend H Bar to anyone expecting the level of service and hospitality associated with a luxury hotel.

Extremely disappointing. The food quality was very poor, and I felt sick to my stomach after eating. The service was slow and unprofessional. On top of that, the place was excessively loud, which felt completely inconsistent with the ambiance they were trying to create. Definitely not worth the price, and I would not return.

Really good bar, in one of the best hotels in Houston. Service is impeccable, drinks are great. They are open till 2, pretty chill no loud noises not a club. Good to sit grab a drink and have a conversation.
