We loved watching the bartenders create each cocktail almost as much as we enjoyed drinking them. The space is intimate, moody, and the perfect backdrop for a night out after dinner. Beyond the secret passcode and hidden bookcase door, the bar itself is intimate, dark, and nicely understated with limited seating. We opted for bar seating where amongst the various drinks we tried, I recommend "La mala educación" (a unique, bolillo-infused cocktail) and the tart mezcal-based "Almost Famous," which comes with a cool Polaroid picture concept. The complimentary amuse-bouche was a sophisticated touch, and the curated chocolate served on a glass tray was unique. With the fast-growing speakeasy scene in Houston, this one is definitely worth a visit.
