We usually prefer this theater. Not anymore. HORRIBLE experience yesterday. 2 things - I was asked to tip on popcorn and soda. No alcohol or restaurant food. REALLY? THE WORST problem was the smell in the theater. We saw Forgotten Island, which is a kids movie, but it was in the last theater, at the end of the aisle (to the right as you pass through counter). THE SMELL is something my nose will never forget. The worst possible BO is stuck to that place. I don't know if cleaning it would even help. It is atrocious. At first I thought there a a baby with a dirty diaper seated nearby. Then we moved around going to bathroom and realized it was the theater. Not just 1 spot. And it is Body Odor. That is stuck in that place. If you go here, make sure you aren't in that last theater. I think it was 15. Ewe. Back to ROANOKE!

Good movie theater venue! Clean! Well maintained! Smells good! Service is quick and variety of items! Of course! Food and beverage is the expensive part!

This is our go to Cinemark and we almost always have a great experience here! The staff are always friendly, quick, and helpful. Be sure to check your seats before showtime to ensure they are working—ran into a few seats that didn’t recline and that was the only downside we’ve experienced. They made it right after so that’s why the 5 star rating remains 🙂

Cinemark Tinseltown has easily become my go-to theater and the location I compare other theaters to. The service here is consistently top tier. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and actually add to the experience rather than making everything feel purely transactional. The concessions are always a highlight too. The popcorn is fresh and warm, and there’s just something about grabbing fresh movie theater popcorn before walking into your auditorium that’s part of the whole experience. The theaters themselves are great as well. The screens look fantastic, the seats are comfortable, and the auditoriums and facilities have always been clean and well maintained whenever I’ve visited. What really keeps me coming back, though, is the atmosphere. Tinseltown still manages to make going to the movies feel like an actual experience. There’s a fun energy to the place that makes me excited to see a movie, whether it’s a huge new release or just something I decided to watch on a random night. There are plenty of theaters where you can simply watch a movie, but Tinseltown is one of those places where going to the theater is part of the fun. Great service, fresh concessions, clean facilities, nice auditoriums, and an atmosphere that makes me genuinely look forward to coming back. Definitely my preferred Cinemark location!
