This theater still does not have the full menu being offered, website doesn't provide the information prior to purchasing tickets. Front ticket desk person was absolutely rude with greeting/assistance. Blankets in theaters are dirty, haven't been cleaned they just refold/roll and place back on seats (disgusting). Theater armrests/seats dirty and sticky. One one server for all theaters. This has been the same reoccurrence for the last two months. No A/C in front bar area. Manager should be fired, front ticket desk person should be fired, they are not providing the customer service thats expectation customers are paying for. Website phone number is no longer in service. This theater is a disgrace to the community.
I attended 6p showing of Paw Patrol at Ipic Fairview Fri, Aug 21 2026.
I was appalled at my experience. I have been a Gold member since 2013. And a very loyal one at that.
I purchased tickets for myself and my 2 children and later purchased a 4th ticket for my husband who decided to join us. We arrived to a very hot and smelly lobby. The AC was not on, they just had a fan blowing hot air around at the check in desk. The normal nice fresh scent was displaced by a horrible odor combination of stale beer, urine, and BO. There was a paper with a handwritten note in a sharpie that said limited menu only. The food we normally order was not available but we thought we would give it a chance as we had been looking forward to this all week. This was his special back to school celebration and I didn't want to say no to the kids after arriving. Had I known ahead of time I definitely would have canceled the tickets but we weren't notified. It was a surprise gotcha situation (aka trap).
Things continued to go downhill from there. Bathroom by theater was closed, theater itself was dirty, no blankets despite me being a gold member who asked twice. We has a waitress come by once to take our order and everything came out slowly piecemeal and out of order. Example, I got my drink after my food. My husband was so disgusted by it all that he left the theater so he missed most of the movie. Myself and my sons stayed though I definitely was not able to enjoy after what was transpiring. Also, I never got checked on a second time (no last call, etc). Just lights on and get out at the end of the show.
I ended up spending over $100 on food and drinks and not asking for a refund on that (though I deserve one). I am however asking for a refund on my movie tickets but as of Sept 3rd noone has returned my multiple emails and voice messages. They conveniently have the phones set up to go straight to voicemail so don't bother calling to complain. I guess they are just going to ride this train until it completely details which won't take long. Other Ipics have filed chapter 9 bankruptcy which is why this theater is under new management. Not that would consider this place of "business" managed

I’ve been coming to ipic for at least 10 years now and normally I love Ipic, but under this new ownership everything has going downhill! My family and I came in the theater and checked in to get our tickets and got asked if we would like to purchase a blanket, even though we’ve never had to purchase one before. The lady at the front told us that it’s a new thing that happened the day we came to watch our movie.
In the past the very last thing it has ever been was freezing in the theater, maybe a little cool breeze from the AC here and there but never freezing. I sat in my seat wearing shorts and a hoodie and was freezinggggg while watching the movie. My boyfriend who is never freezing in the theater with a whole sweat suit on was freezing. After a little while it was too freezing so we ordered a blanket. It took about 20-30 mins for the blanket to come to us…we asked about 3 people if we could get the blanket that we ordered here soon and it didn’t come until we asked the third person.
Normally the food that we order is hot and the fries are good as well. We ordered what we normally order for food which is wings, fries and chick tenders. The wings were cold, the fries were cold and they didn’t taste like they normally do. We asked if we could get a better batch and the second one that came out was better.
I’m never one to complain but it’s unfortunate that once such a good place has gone downhill. It felt like a waste of money and I don’t know if I’ll be back.
I’m really disappointed with what has happened to IPIC Fairview. We brought guests from out of town because we wanted to take them somewhere that offered the premium movie experience we associated with IPIC. Unfortunately, had we known in advance what the experience would be like, we would have chosen somewhere else.
When we arrived, there was a sign downstairs informing guests that they were experiencing issues and, as a result, only a limited menu was available. This came as a complete surprise to us. We had seen no notice about the limited menu on the website when planning our visit. When you are bringing out-of-town guests and choosing a theater partly because of its dine-in experience, that is information customers should have before they arrive—not after they have already made the trip.
Once seated, we also had to specifically ask for a drink menu.
There was a noticeable urine/bathroom-like smell in the theater as well. I initially wondered if I was imagining it, but it was strong enough to be distracting and certainly not something you expect in a premium theater.
Service was extremely slow. Our food took a long time to arrive, and when we later needed assistance, we pressed the blue service button at our seats. The light remained on for an extended period without anyone coming to check on us. We also had to specifically ask for blankets.
The food we received was just okay. We ordered the pretzel appetizer, but it was so excessively salty that we couldn’t eat it. To their credit, they removed it from our bill when I asked.
We were also surprised to learn that popcorn, which used to be included with the premium-seat experience, now has to be purchased separately. Amenities seem to be disappearing while customers are still paying premium prices.
I still left our server a $20 tip on a $161 bill because I recognize that the menu problems, staffing, condition of the theater, and changes in amenities are not necessarily the fault of one employee. My concern is with the overall operation of this location.
What made tonight particularly disappointing was that we chose IPIC Fairview specifically to give our out-of-town guests a nice evening. Had the limited menu been disclosed on the website beforehand, we would not have come.
IPIC used to be somewhere we could count on for an elevated movie night. Between the unpleasant odor, unexpectedly limited menu, slow food service, unanswered service light, having to request basic amenities, and mediocre food, tonight simply did not feel like a premium experience.
I hope management takes the recent customer feedback seriously and restores this location to the standard that made people willing to pay a premium to come here in the first place.

I use to love this place, and it was mine and my husbands preferred theater for any movie. I have been a gold member for the past couple years, and I never thought this place would go down this bad. We had bought our tickets for the opening weekend of Spiderman: Brand New Day on August 2nd a month in advance since we knew the tickets would sell out fast. My family and I arrive to iPic, very excited to see this movie. Before we are even fully out of the car, a nice lady lets us know that the power is out as she was leaving for the same movie. We head upstairs and confirm the power is indeed out, the front desk attendant informs us that the power has been out for the past hour and that we were welcome to either for however long until the power came back on or they would give us a refund for the tickets if we chose not to. We opted for the refund since it was already extremely hot in there since the power had apparently already been out for over an hour. We leave and try to find another show time, but since it was opening weekend we had no such luck and so we had to find another showing at a different theater next weekend. Not to mention my 10 year old was very disappointed for not being able to see this movie. Anyways, we were told to wait 3-4 business days for the refund and we do. We get to Friday that following week and still no refund. My husband calls multiple times and no one answers. Since I was in the area I decide to go up there myself to talk to someone about the refund. I get there and I already have a feeling that there was going to be an issue, because the second you enter there is a sign at the bottom of the stairs, stating that their systems are out. When I get upstairs, I let the front desk lady know that we were told that we were supposed to get our refund this week and we still hadn’t. She let me know that they were victims of a cyberattack and that their systems have been down since Wednesday (which still doesn’t make sense because they should’ve started processing refunds on Monday or Tuesday before their systems were out). She tells me to give them 7-10 business days to get my refund, and I have no choice but to to leave and accept that. So here I am writing this review because it’s an absurd amount of time for anyone to wait for a refund for a movie we never got to see. And it is insane that they are still selling tickets online when their systems are supposedly out. Especially will all the issues they’ve had, from reading all the latest review everyone else has left. I hope they do provide a refund soon. As this is a very frustrating situation.
