I went to go see mortal kombat, and I was miserable the whole movie , the theater was so hot. I had jeans on… I was burning up. I had to get up mid movie to go tell someone if they can please turn on the AC in the theater. I had never experienced that! Usually, theaters are cool. I was so uncomfortable and it made my experience horrible!

I want to share a different perspective based on what I personally witnessed today. The general manager handled a very chaotic situation with professionalism, patience, and respect. He was polite, organized, and genuinely trying to keep things under control despite how overwhelming it became. Ladies in the line being savages. Unfortunately, things escalated because many people were upset about not getting merchandise. I saw pushing, items being taken out of people’s hands, and even aggressive behavior toward others, including elderly individuals. That lady got punched in the face. It was honestly disappointing to see how some customers treated both staff and each other. There has been a lot of blame placed on the manager, but from what I observed, he was doing his job and trying to manage an unpredictable crowd. Being in that position means stepping in whenever needed, and that’s exactly what he did. I also witnessed a woman (who has left a negative review) yelling at staff and treating them disrespectfully. That kind of behavior only added to the chaos and made a difficult situation worse. For the record, many people in line didn’t know each other they simply met while waiting. Those people got there at 5 AM. I know cause I was there. The accusations being made about favoritism or unfairness don’t reflect what I saw. I just want to give credit where it’s due. The staff stayed composed and did their best under pressure, and the general manager handled things far better than most people would have in that situation.

The general manager is extremely unfair and unprofessional. Showing up like he’s a customer and was lined up for the DWP2 merchandise supposedly he took all of the merchandise and left none for the actual customers, checked him and friends out at the register himself... I’ve heard he’s overall unfair with the employees and in general today was very unfair for guests who had been waiting in line. He didn’t limit how many purses everyone could get, for his own benefit. Something should be done about him a lot of guests are upset about this. Do better.

If you plan to make line to buy merchandise for any premiere careful because no matter how early you get there if you are in back of Berney who claimed is the general manager, you won’t get anything because he Invite all his friends and lets them cut in line to get the buckets just to resell them for more and left everyone in the line without merchandise. He was using merchandise for personal profit and used favoritism to unfair distribution. He missed used manager authority instead of having everything organized. He was in line for the merch then proceeded to go behind the register to ring his friends up. Completely unfair.

For the longest time, we let a map dictate our experiences. My wife and I used to look at this theater and think it was "too far"—a destination reserved for "someday" that never seemed to come. We stayed away, convinced the trek wasn't worth the effort. How wrong we were. After catching our last three films here—with a fourth already on the horizon—we’ve had a revelation: it isn’t far at all. It’s right where we need to be. Sometimes, the best experiences are just over the horizon, waiting for you to realize they’ve been within reach all along. While the crowds prove just how popular this spot is, they’ve mastered the art of the "Sugar Rush." Even when the main concession lines look daunting, the theater stays ahead of the game: • Efficiency in Numbers: They keep plenty of registers open to move the crowds quickly. • The "Satellite" Strategy: Forget trekking back to the lobby; the mini concession stands on both sides of the theater are absolute game-changers. • Seamless Refills: Getting that second round of popcorn or soda is effortless, ensuring you never miss a beat of the action. Don't let the distance stop you from finding your new favorite spot. This has officially claimed its place as one of my top theaters in El Paso. If you’ve been putting off the drive, take it from us—the destination is well worth the journey!
