I am genuinely disappointed at what the Village Beach Club has become. I invited a group of my girlfriends to celebrate the 4th of July this past weekend and the environment was pure chaos and absolutely disgusting. If you want to constantly be approached by drunk men and be harassed constantly, this is the place to get that. Plus, the drinks are incredibly overpriced and The DJs are mediocre. The Village Beach Club used to be a classy, fun, and a great time for residents to invite their guests to have a fun and wholesome time. It was literally a COUNTRY CLUB! Today, it's turned to a Vegas scene filled with drunkenness, debauchery, and pure sloppiness. I won't be inviting any more of my girlfriends to this place again, especially on a weekend. Way overpriced, terrible service, and the environment was PURE chaos. I loved the days where the VBC was only accessible to the residents and their guests. That is literally what made it a PRIVILEGE to be a Villager. Another thing worth mentioning... a very creepy old man was trying to take a picture of me and my girlfriends without our permission. When I was at the bar trying to order a drink, the bartender was disrespected by a drunk guy and you could tell he was feeling frustrated and it was influencing his performance and productivity at the bar. This place is literally taking a turn for the worse like Deep Ellum. Overall, the excessive intoxication is leading to an unpleasant environment and it's obvious that there's been a loss of a resident-focused amenity in favor of a public party venue. Good luck ever getting residents to want to live at The Drey.

People are so harsh on this place…there are so many people that are clearly enjoying themselves. Cabanas are filled, drinks everywhere, people in the pool, we loved it! Great vibes, bottle service, liquor bottles were coming out hot, plus need a better DJ please! Valet was about $40 & parking is slightly difficult to find. Other than that great concept- it can become Vegas Vibes with a little more work!!

Be super sick if we could just enjoy our pool with guests without there being lame events every Saturday (seriously yalls DJs are so boring half the time, not worth 32 dollars to go swim in the pool and listen to mid house music) super lame yall seriously
