Het is, voor iemand die van fossielen en dinosaurussen houd, een mooi interessant museum. Op zaterdag waren er veel gezinnen. Met veel kinderen die niet allemaal even goed naar hun ouders luisterden.

Took my 9 year old daughter and 17 year old nephew on a Tuesday in August. There were no lines and hardly anyone else was there... It's a great field trip for homeschool families... We loved all of the exhibits and my daughter had fun doing the scavenger hunt.

★★★★★ Such a wonderful, family-friendly museum! Our kids absolutely loved exploring all the exhibits, especially the dinosaurs, bats, beautiful minerals, and Texas wildlife. There’s so much to see and learn for both children and adults. They also offer convenient stroller parking and free public lockers, which made our visit with kids so much easier. Parking is free on weekends, and admission is free every fourth Sunday of the month, sponsored by H-E-B. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

There are 4 floors to explore and each is very cool in its own way. The top floor was themed around bats and I really liked the interactive aspects of the exhibit. The 3rd floor mostly has information about extant Texas wildlife. The entrance/ground floor has a Quetzalcoatlus and tyrannosaur skeleton and a timeline of Earth's history. The lowest floor has fossils and extinct wildlife of Texas. I enjoyed the museum and it would make a wonderful trip if you or one of your family members loves natural history!
