We love visiting museums on vacations and Texas didn’t let us down. Kids loved the scavenger hunt and gift shop. Amazing fossils and displays. Super friendly staff throughout our visit.

Really great place to bring your class for a field trip. All staff is very courteous and helpful. Each student was given a scavenger hunt booklet and pencil which added a layer of fun to our visit. There were hands on exhibits and lots of photo opportunities. There's a nice gift shop to conclude your visit.

Accessibility here is a joke. The bathroom doors that accommodate a walker are extremely heavy, stairs that I have to carry my walker down unless I find a worker and ask for them to do the wheelchair lift. I saw everything in about 30min with minimal info on exhibits. I’ve been to way better. $10 ticket for just me was ok, but having to pay for parking and minimal signage about how to park in real time (yes there’s info online but that’s not something you can safely pull up when driving)

This may be on me for thinking this museum was more than it was. I think anyone over 10 years old would be quite bored visiting. Unless I missed some displays you can see everything in 15 minutes at most. Hallways upstairs were narrow walking to a few displays on opposite ends of the hall. If you have been to any other Natural History Museums anywhere else you will be greatly disappointed going to this. I'm not really sure how they can justify calling this a museum.
