I saw "Young Washington" with a friend of mine. The facility is clean and the employees were friendly. The movie was excellent. I'd keep the company with me daily, if possible. It was a great experience.

My showtime was 10:15 PM but the show started at 10:40 PM. These guys don’t take customer’s time seriously and were utilizing this time to show ads to make more money. Also the aircon inside is so bad on a hot summer evening. Utterly disgusting and disappointed. Would never visit this place again. Don’t come here if you value your time.

There's not much to differentiate this multiplex from other modern ones featuring scanners for tickets purchased online, a variety of movie experiences and a well appointed snack bar.
There are a few features worth mentioning. The lobby has a simple layout with stanchions to guide guests. Scan your QR code or purchase a ticket at the stand on the right. Head back to the ticket and then there's two halls leading to the individual theaters.
The XD theaters are configured with stadium seating, large comfortable recliners and drink/food trays.
A movie theater should feel inviting from the moment you walk in. Unfortunately, the strong oil smell in the lobby took away from what was otherwise a decent experience.
I recently visited Cinemark in Allen. Overall, it was a good experience, but not a great one. The theater itself was clean, the staff was friendly, and the movie experience was enjoyable.
However, the first thing I noticed when walking in was a very strong oil smell coming from the popcorn area. The smell was overwhelming and honestly made me not want to stay in the lobby for long. Instead of smelling fresh popcorn, it smelled more like heavy cooking oil, which took away from the overall atmosphere.
The theater is decent and gets the job done, but improving the ventilation or reducing the strong oil odor would make a much better first impression.

My wife and I wanted to go see a movie that only had one time tonight. So we get our tickets arrive, we are about to walk in, and then we get told we have to have a kid with us because it is a "kid's theatre". The time was at 8:35 pm on a Tuesday night and it was the only available time at any nearby theater so we had to drive from plano to get here. We were fortunate to have a refund from the assistant manager but Cinemark needs to mark better. At least give us a warning on the website or at the kiosk when we buy the ticket. I would also like to point out we were not the only people that night rejected, Cinemark really should have had at least another theatre ready for something like this. I will not go back to this location until there is a clear fix.
