Christy B. is an absolute dance miracle worker. I honestly can't recommend her enough. I am someone who didn't know about dancing, care about dancing, or really want to dance.... but had to dance in front of 500+ people. Christy took me there with care and compassion, energy and enthusiasm, fun and creativity every step of the way. 18 lessons later, I was super proud of what we accomplished. From a creative idea, to constant encouragement and flexibility with schedule--- we built literally from the first step to the last. Her friendship was wonderful and her dancing ability is amazing too. Hire her for whatever you need on the dance floor!

This ballroom dance school has done a superb in job creating a community of not only dancers, but patrons of the arts. The instruction there is fabulous, and the personal attention to each student is so valuable. But to see students performing in showcases supported by their fellow International Ballroom students is amazing! It's something you don't often see in the performing arts. Also the social dance events are so much fun, and so are the holiday events. Then there are the trips! Wow! Not only are the instructors supportive and talented, but so is the staff! We just can't get enough! All Ed Cobb and I can say is, "Bravissimi!"

If you are considering dance lessons, this is where you want to be. I moved here from Denver and was stunned to find world-class instruction in Charleston. This is affirmed by the fact that the top coaches in the U.S. (who also coach international competitors) visit our studio regularly. These are ballroom leaders who do not waste their time flying to work with people they do not believe in or enjoy being around. Truly, the entire community is a family, and my heart spends half its time in the studio. I'm so grateful. Joining this dance family is a gift.
