Booked a birthday party for my niece at Big Air, and the experience was honestly frustrating and confusing.
As the host, when we arrived, I asked the front desk employee if I could decorate the party room beforehand. She told me they have employees who put up decorations for guests. I was surprised and excited to hear that. I handed her my already-opened Amazon bag full of decorations, and she placed it on a cart and said she would give it to the staff decorating the room.
An hour later, we were called into the party room, and not a single decoration had been put up. Just an empty room for a birthday party.
I went back to the front desk confused, and the employee seemed confused too. She said she would figure out who was supposed to handle it. Five minutes later, the manager came over and said, “We can’t open packages.”
The problem is: the bag was already open, and nobody mentioned this policy beforehand. Why wasn’t I informed when I specifically asked about decorating? Why take the decorations at all if nobody planned on putting them up? At what point was someone planning to tell me they weren’t decorating the room?
There was no apology, no accountability, nothing. Instead, I had to spend 35 minutes of our party time putting up decorations myself — and we only had the room for one hour.
The lack of communication completely took away from what was supposed to be a fun birthday experience.

So much to do for all ages. Food and drinks available. Of course it's loud with music and kids having fun. Only slight negative is they need more parking.

We had a fun time overall and the kids really enjoyed themselves.
One thing that really stood out, though, was being charged $8 for a pitcher of tap water. In a place where kids are constantly jumping, sweating, and needing to rehydrate, that felt excessive and honestly a bit concerning. Access to basic water in that kind of environment shouldn’t feel limited or like a premium purchase. It’s also not explicitly posted anywhere that they charge for water so I was surprised to see it on my receipt. I asked for a refund and they did give it to me but the manager told us that it’s this locations policy to charge for pitchers of water. Not a great look.
I completely understand charging for food and drinks, but water—especially for kids during physical activity—feels different. I hope this is something management will reconsider, because it took away from an otherwise great experience.
