- RRRenee2 days ago1.0This shop and its staff exhibit a significant level of white privilege. As a disabled individual with a chronic condition that affects my mobility, I asked if I could purchase a product or artwork to be allowed to use their restroom in an emergency. My condition prevents me from sensing the need to use the restroom until it becomes urgent, and there are no nearby public bathrooms. The staff dismissed my request, telling me to find a restroom further down the road. I offered to buy something to prove I was a paying customer before respectfully using their space, but they disregarded my disability and my needs. (My bladder could have failed at any moment, and I might have urinated on their floor, but I found the dehumanization unbearable.) I was dressed appropriately, excited to shop and learn about their work as a local, but I will never return. You couldn't pay me to shop there. I briefly looked at some items for sale, which resembled crafts from summer camp for kids.
