  I like the place. Parking is ample in the garage, which comes in handy when the sun is so close. The staff are nice and the beer is great. Folks say the beer is a bit pricey, but don't take into consideration the liquor liability laws and location, and the cost to produce fresh clean beer brewed to the German Purity Law standards with imported ingredients. I lived in Germany and Belgium, so I can vouch for and appreciate the quality and seasonal offerings of the beer. The food is authentic and good as well. I did have a pretzel once, which seemed like it was a day old or heated in a microwave, but only once and it was a year or so ago when they were still figuring out staffing. The menu varies as well, which is appreciated. I believe the head chef/cook? went on sabbatical to Germany to learn from the homeland as well. For the record, I just so happen to have the same name as the owner, but I am not him writing this review (I am taller and prettier, but don't own a brewery/restaurant). Soon I will come for him in our Highlander moment so there will be only one as I have dispatched several already. Scott Burgess in Aiken, you are on deck.

  Bierkeller is a great place to sit in the shade and enjoy a great German beer and German food.

  Had a great time at Bierkeller Brewing Company. The beer selection was excellent, with plenty of flavorful options to choose from, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to offer recommendations. The outdoor setting made it a perfect place to unwind with friends and enjoy the evening. Great drinks, great service, and an overall experience.

  We stopped in Columbia on our way to National Homebrew Con in Asheville. Tianna is very knowledgeable of the beer. She was attentive to us and welcoming. The beer was all very good. Yes, we tried All of them! The food was also very good. Thank you for your hospitality.
