Pretty nice place fairly clean, but a few of the restroom stalls were dirty or not flushed. Matinee tickets aren't too pricey, but the food and snacks sure are expensive.

We were excited to finally go see The Devil Wears Prada II, however the nostalgia and joy of the entire movie experience was completely ruined by whoever is managing this theater. It used to be you could sit wherever you wanted. Assigned seating was sold to audiences as an upgrade, but all it really did was remove the one tool moviegoers had to self-manage a bad situation. Now you must preselect your seats in advance, which means if you are sitting in front of someone whose feral children are kicking your seat and talking loudly during the movie, too bad. You are stuck and cannot move elsewhere.
Then let's talk about the price of food and beverages. $12.00 for two small bottles of water, $14.00 for two small bags of nachos with a small side of cheese sauce, and $10.00 for a carton of popcorn. That is $36.00 in snacks for two people. Combined with the online ticket purchase of $20.00 for two seats, we paid a total of $56.00 for the most miserable two hours we have spent in a long time.
However, hold on. The worst is yet to come. The sound was so loud inside the theater that even the earplugs we brought were not enough. We both ended up with bad headaches and felt sorry for the people around us who were complaining, but sadly had not brought any earplugs. I saw a lot of them sitting with their hands over their ears during the show. When the movie ended, I have never seen so many people exit a theater so quickly. In the old days, we would sit and watch the credits roll, but once the final scene ended, along with everyone else, we were on our feet heading for the door.
My husband is an audio engineer and has a decibel reader on his phone. At 94 decibels, the sound level in that theater exceeded OSHA's recommended safe exposure threshold, and was well beyond what any audience should be subjected to. We left with headaches. Others left covering their ears.
Tinseltown has destroyed the foundation of what was once a great movie experience and turned it into something genuinely unpleasant. Exorbitant prices, no seating autonomy, and sound levels so dangerously high that they made the entire experience regrettable. This has been a gradual, ongoing problem, but after what we experienced, this is the last time we will ever visit this theater.
The real tragedy is that the theater essentially hijacked what should have been a celebratory experience. The film did its job beautifully. The venue just didn't do theirs.
We will wait the 60 to 90 days for a movie to become available for streaming and watch it from the comfort of home. To anyone reading this, I am not exaggerating when I say please avoid this place. If you go anyway, don't say you weren't warned. Good luck. xo

The little kids that work here are too busy talking to each other to actually do their jobs. We told the girl at the ticket box that we wanted the 6:50 movie. She was giggling and Laughing so much that she ended up giving us the 7:50 tickets which we didn’t realize right away. We get our concessions snacks and head to the theater. The girl that scans your tickets sent us to the theater. We go in, find our seats, and get comfortable. We were in the theater for maybe 10 minutes and the movie ended. We looked at our tickets and realized the tickets were for the wrong time. We then go to the girl that scans the tickets and explained what happened, she said we couldn’t go into the 6:50 movie that we were supposed to be watching. Altogether this visit was a waste of $55 for two tickets, two drinks, popcorn, and a bag of candy.

My favorite place in Erie, but sometimes we get spooked out here. Just an eerie vibe some times. And I'm not the first person who has said that. But, I'll never stop going there!! WE LOVE TINSELTOWN ❤️
