Always clean, the popcorn is always fresh, and the picture and sound are better than at any AMC or Regal theater. The seats are also incredibly comfortable, and I love the Movie Club and all of the Cinemark promotional products. I also want to stress again that this theater is always super clean! And I'm so glad that Lancaster has this theater!

This morning on 6/7/26 there were 8 of us attending the movies around 10am to watch the 10:40am showing of the new “The Star Wars Mandalorian” movie. While getting all of our children’s pop corn, snacks, and drinks, my 6 year old child and her cousins were checking out the cardboard standing up poster for “The Amazing Digital Circus” movie that was sitting out and my 6 year old ended up messing with it moving it around or something. Which yes she shouldn’t have been doing but as stated we were also grabbing all children’s movie goodies, and I was keeping an eye on my kid but any parent knows it takes one second for you kid to start doing something, especially being young, so in the time of looking away for a second I hear this women screaming, and at first I’m thinking it’s a mother yelling at her kid. But then I see this worker charging at my kid screaming at her in ways I don’t even speak to my child, upset that my kid is messing with the sign. When me and my sister politely ask her not to talk to my kid like that she still had an attitude raising her voice saying “she’s messing with the sign” and as I’m trying to say “I understand she shouldn’t be doing that but you could have walked up to my kid and asked her to not touch it, instead of screaming and charging at her, she’s six” she proceeds to scream at me “WATCH YOUR KID”. And I then just ended up letting it go because I’m not gonna cause a scene in front of my child and her cousins, my sisters children, like the staff member was actually doing!! Or get arrested for assault in front of my kid, because that’s what I wanted to do to the worker for speaking to my child and me so rudely. But I kept my composure. It was totally inappropriate how she spoke, not even spoke but screamed at my six year old child for the whole building to see and hear while also charging at her. I took a picture of the staff member, which she could see me doing, and then she walked away from the ticket check stand she was at. Then I never once seen her again, even during the movie when taking my child to the bathroom during a bathroom break and also not when we were leaving, and the poster board that my child and her cousins were checking out was gone when we came out of the movie over two hours later. I’m not sure if she got in trouble but I do hope this staff member got in trouble as she should not be working in a family place with children if she does not know how to speak to them!!! It’s very overwhelming doing anything with young children at times, and trying to get them to stand still, especially if there’s things for children movies out that they wanna go look at it. Again we were getting their movie goodies and she slipped my eye for one second, I mean I knew she was by the sign but had I seen her touching it or moving it I obviously would make her stop, and asked her to look not touch. Its not acceptable for a random stranger whose a GROWN ADULT to scream and charge at a six year old child! Who’s suppose to be a professional staff member I a family place.
I could understand her being upset had it been a repeating thing but she didn’t even approach me or my child once to get the situation handled and ask my child to not do that. She just caused a scene and spoke to my child like a grown adult. Completely inappropriate how she acted toward guest, especially a six year old child. Below I will attach the picture of the staff who was working the ticket check who did this. Edit to add some details..even worse when a family member called to report the incident this evening the manager did not care at all how my child was spoken to. They said that their worker had reported my child kicking the cardboard poster and that “they don’t want their property damaged”. No care for how their worker screamed at the top of her lungs at a 6 year old child. Even when I took accountability for my child to needing to be corrected if she was doing something, but for it to be done respectfully, I was screamed at, as well by the staff, the manager dosent care. Unprofessional and disgusting.
