  Way to mke sure I patronize only the AMC, Regal, and Apple cinemas near me. Thank you for making it know that Cinemark would rather take the money of someone who couldn't attend the theater while going through a temporary disability but won't honor what they paid for when better. I happen to live in an area where theater options are plentiful. I will now make sure everyone who I have the ability to reach will not attend Cinemark either. While this won't make a dent in the discusting amount of money Cinemark brings in, it will let my little corner of the world know that this company has no regard for the people who want to attend. So between myself, my family, and my friends I will at least know that we have deprived Cinemark of our few thousand dollars a year. Our conversation concludes, but the word of mouth social media campaign now begins. You're very welcome for the thousands of dollars I have spent ove the years. Thank you for sending me to try out my other theater options.

  Large movie theater with lots of concessions options and refillable icee. One of the only 70mm theaters around. However, spacing in between imax seats rows are WAY too narrow, back of the seat touching knees. For a $25 ticket movie that shouldn’t be happening. In the event of an emergency there’s certainly no space to leave the row you’re in. All you can do is pray you don’t have an accident on fellow movie goers around you as you try to knock knees with everyone on your way out. I’m surprised someone didn’t fall over the row in front of them trying to make their way out.

  Attended Tinseltown to view The Odyssey in its original 70mm format. Incredible experience. Management was great, came out and spoke to us before the film with a very unique story about the cinema. A nice touch for a proud Rochester community! Wonderful place to watch a movie, especially IMAX. Excellent concessions at reasonable prices. Freestyle Coke machines, “add your own butter” options for popcorn, and Pizza Hut personal pizzas, just to name a few! Only downside in the IMAX theatre is lack of leg room. It is a real struggle when someone is trying to squeeze by to use the bathroom. Can’t wait to attend Tinseltown again!

  I recently purchased tickets to a limited showing event for myself and 4 children for my daughter’s birthday. I got an email last night stating that the theater has cancelled the showing of the movie, and that a refund would be issued within 5-7 business days. Today, I attempted to call the theater in hopes of forgoing the refund, opting for choosing a different showtime instead. This is because I do not have an additional $90 to purchase another 5 tickets. Being that they initiated the refund already, I will have to wait for that refund to appear in my account- which will be AFTER the limit showing event is already over. I was placed on hold by a representative of the theater, who said they would connect me with the manager. The representative came back and said that the manager told them that I would have to contact corporate. I did contact corporate, and opted for a call back because they only offer AI assistance on initial call in. With this, they called me back and placed me on hold for 15 minutes before a corporate representative stated that there was nothing that could be done. It would have been better if the option of an alternate showing was provided instead of immediately refunding. Additionally, 5-7 business days seems like an exorbitant amount of time to process a refund. Now I have no movie tickets, no money to buy more movie tickets, and no plan for my 8 year old daughter’s birthday. Thanks.

  2026 9/2 - had a chance to see coyote bs ACME. Hope all got home safe due to the tornado watched 8/15 - pre-planning for the next movie called the brink of war 8/1 8/2 - Spider man film. You know I still get the biggest kick that Coca-Cola was out usually it’s Cherry 🍒 Coca-Cola. Menu wise, they do offer Popcorn from Small to Large sizes. Drinks from Small to Large sizes. Coca-Cole brand. Candy and Snacks too. There are other different kinds of water. Slush puppy too. Directions: Now, if you are coming from route, 104 (Ridge Road) heading south on route 19 (Main Street), there is the a roundabout part. Make sure to head south and passing by Pizza Hut and Dollar General. Go up the hill and past the canal bridge. The one light that you see when getting closer, the movie theater is on the left side. Now if you are coming route 31 (Fourth Section Road). Heading north on Route 19. Passing by several lights, one is the five way light. Aș you closer, you will see several churches along the way plus a light. When you are getting closer to the light, the movie is on the right side. Parking locations State Street: there are several parking areas along the left and right. Keep an eye on signs. Plus there is the Town of Sweden parking lot area too. Erie Street: you will see a diner on that street (left side). On the other side is the parking lot on the right. *June through October, Sunday only Farmers Market does block front entrance from 9AM-1PM* A great all around family experience for everyone to enjoy! Visual wise of outside and inside to help movie goers to attend. 2025 Notes: they do clean the bathrooms. Pickup and dumb out the trash in the proper locations. (Reboot) Now when a popular feature is being played. Two movie screens are being used. This does help accommodate fans when there is different time slots to come in and watch the film. Google to Yelp. (2nd reboot) (Trade request in progress from Brockport Strand Theater to Cinemark Tinseltown Rochester. Trade deal completed. Too bad there’s not a jersey and hat here! Lol! Jk!) 2023 The Boys in the Boat - honestly I thought this was great movie to watch the Cinemark Tinseltown. Look forward to seeing more films in the feature.
