Since when was serving popcorn in Broadway theaters a thing? I stopped going to movie theaters years ago because like many people I cannot stand the smell or the sound of people smacking popcorn in cramped theaters. Will add this theater to my list of theaters to avoid. I hope the revenue they make from selling popcorn makes up for the lost ticket sales. What a stench.

Great venue to see a show. We saw “Titanique”, which I knew nothing about, but was so happy I went. Absolutely hilarious and great music. It was a Saturday matinee, and tickets were reasonable. Happy to see some familiar faces in the cast including Jim Parsons and Frankie Grande. They were both excellent including Marla Mindelle as Céline Dion and Layton Williams as The Iceberg. Melissa Barrera and Constantine Rousouli were fantastic as Jack & Rose. Excellent sound system and comfortable seating. Incredibles set design. We sat in the balcony and had decent view of this stage, although at times the performers coming off the front of the stage were difficult to see. However, that did not really affect the show. Maybe because it was raining, getting in was very fast and easy through security and ticket scanning. Staff was helpful in getting us to our seats. A bar was available, but coming from lunch we did not use it. So if you’re looking for a great show, in a nice venue, the St. James Theatre is the place to go. Enjoy!

Absolutely LOVE the show, "Titanique." The Theater though, not so much. The theater we saw it in before it hit Broadway was better. St. James seems poorly designed, and the seats were almost as tiny as economy airplane seats. The average height people in front of me blocked almost 50% of my view. Insane for the price of tickets. I would love to see it again, but I'll wait until it tours.
